Bu topraklarda VII. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131nda bir\u00e7ok yunan s\u00f6m\u00fcrgesi kurulmu\u015ftu. Bug\u00fcn Napoli kentinin yak\u0131nlar\u0131ndaki Salerno\u2019nun bulundu\u011fu topraklarda kurulan Elea kenti ikinci b\u00fcy\u00fck felsefe deviniminin merkezi oldu. L\u00e9on Robin \u015f\u00f6yle der: \u201cBuras\u0131 bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde yeni bir ortamd\u0131, geleneklerin b\u00fcy\u00fck bask\u0131s\u0131 alt\u0131nda de\u011fildi, sonu\u00e7 olarak daha esnek, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceye daha yatk\u0131n, daha tutkulu bir ortamd\u0131; bu ortamda k\u00fclt\u00fcr maddi refah\u0131n geli\u015fimini izler gibiydi: \u00f6rne\u011fin Kroton\u2019da \u00fcnl\u00fc bir hekimler okulu vard\u0131.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bu topraklarda \u00f6nce iki b\u00fcy\u00fck d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ak\u0131m\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131: Pythagoras\u2019\u0131n gizemcili\u011fi ve Elea okulunun us\u00e7ulu\u011fu. Elea us\u00e7ulu\u011funun temellendiricisi Parmenides duyumcu ya da fizik\u00e7i bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 t\u00fcmden d\u0131\u015flayarak felsefeye ba\u015ftan sona ussal \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmler getirmeye y\u00f6neldi: duyu verileri aldat\u0131c\u0131yd\u0131, ger\u00e7ek olan bizim ancak usla kavrayabilece\u011fimiz \u201cBir Varl\u0131k\u201d olabilirdi. B\u00f6ylece \u0130onia felsefelerinin tam kar\u015f\u0131t\u0131 bir anlay\u0131\u015f ortaya at\u0131lm\u0131\u015f oldu. \u0130nsan\u0131n g\u00f6zlerini do\u011fruca duyulur olandan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcr olana \u00e7evirmesiydi bu. Sorun hep o sorundu: de\u011fi\u015fen varsa de\u011fi\u015fmeyen nedir, de\u011fi\u015fmeyen varsa de\u011fi\u015fen nedir? Parmenides\u2019in <strong>g\u00f6zleri d\u00fcnyaya kapamak<\/strong> diye \u00f6zetlenebilecek bu \u00e7abas\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcnde b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde etkili olmu\u015f olsa da daha sonra ba\u015fka filozoflar\u0131n fizik d\u00fcnyaya d\u00f6n\u00fck a\u00e7\u0131klamalar\u0131n\u0131n ardarda gelmesini engelleyemedi. Agrigente\u2019li Empedokles, Klozemenai\u2019li (bug\u00fcnk\u00fc Urla), Anaksagoras ve Abdera\u2019l\u0131 (Trakya\u2019da Mesta \u0131rma\u011f\u0131n\u0131n a\u011fz\u0131 yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda) Demokritos fizik d\u00fcnyan\u0131n verilerine dayal\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamalar yapt\u0131lar: herbiri kendine g\u00f6re bir atomculuk anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 geli\u015ftirdi. Empedokles evreni a\u00e7\u0131klamaya y\u00f6nelirken insan sorunlar\u0131yla da ilgiliydi, atomcu Demokritos ayn\u0131 zamanda bir ahlak\u00e7\u0131yd\u0131. \u00d6te yandan, Miletos\u2019un y\u0131k\u0131m\u0131yla felsefe Bat\u0131\u2019ya kayarken Perslere ba\u015fe\u011fen Ephesos\u2019da Herakleitos olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli bir kuram geli\u015ftirmi\u015f, bunu yaparken ahlak sorunlar\u0131n\u0131n uza\u011f\u0131nda kalmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k: inanca d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f felsefe<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Elea ve \u00e7evresinin en eski felsefi at\u0131l\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiren Pythagoras 585-570 aras\u0131nda Samos\u2019da (Sisam) do\u011fdu, 480\u2019e do\u011fru Metapontion\u2019da \u00f6ld\u00fc. Okulunu Yunanistan\u2019\u0131n Kroton kentinde kurdu. Yolculuklara \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131, Fenikelilerin, Kaldelilerin, Perslerin, Hintlilerin, M\u0131s\u0131rl\u0131lar\u0131n, Araplar\u0131n ya\u015fam ve inan\u00e7 bi\u00e7imlerini inceledi. Trakya\u2019da Orpheus gizleriyle tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Pythagoras \u00f6nce B\u00fcy\u00fck Yunanistan\u2019da daha sonra as\u0131l Yunanistan\u2019da hem bilimci bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131yla hem gizemci g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fleriyle b\u00fcy\u00fck ilgi uyand\u0131rd\u0131. O hem bir filozoftu hem de bir din adam\u0131yd\u0131, bir tarikat \u00f6nderiydi. Ki\u015fili\u011fi de ya\u015fam\u0131 da s\u00f6ylencelere bulanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r, bu y\u00fczden Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n ne olup ne olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 tam olarak belirlemek olas\u0131 de\u011fildir. Nitekim Pythagoras\u2019\u0131n \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden yar\u0131m y\u00fczy\u0131l sonra Empedokles onu insan\u00fcst\u00fc bir varl\u0131k ilan etti. Bir zaman geldi, Pythagoras Apollon\u2019un ya da Hermes\u2019in o\u011flu olarak an\u0131ld\u0131. O tanr\u0131 kat\u0131yla insan d\u00fcnyas\u0131 aras\u0131nda bir k\u00f6pr\u00fcyd\u00fc, bir t\u00fcr peygamberdi.<\/p>\n<p>Bir zaman sonra Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar toplumsal ya\u015fam d\u00fczenini ko\u015fullayacak bir a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k kazand\u0131lar ve her yerde olmasa da G\u00fcney \u0130talya\u2019da yo\u011fun bir tepkiyle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131lar. Bunun \u00fczerine Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu G\u00fcney \u0130talya\u2019dan ayr\u0131ld\u0131 ya da \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131ld\u0131. Bu ki\u015filer genellikle Yunanistan\u2019a gittiler. Yunanistan\u2019a gidenler biri Thebai\u2019de \u00f6b\u00fcr\u00fc Philonte\u2019de Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n iki merkezini kurdular. Thebai merkezini kuran Philolaos oldu. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n Orpheus\u2019\u00e7ulu\u011fa kendi rengini vermesi ve ayn\u0131 zamanda Orpheus\u2019\u00e7ulu\u011fun Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 etkilemesi, onunla b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015fmeye do\u011fru gitmesi bu ko\u015fullarda olmu\u015ftur. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k daha sonra Dionysos misterleriyle kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Orpheus\u2019\u00e7u-Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131 gelenek bir zaman sonra yeniden G\u00fcney \u0130talya\u2019y\u0131 etkisi alt\u0131na alm\u0131\u015f olmal\u0131d\u0131r. Evet, bu bir felsefe oldu\u011fu kadar da bir dindi. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131 ahlak anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n daha \u00e7ok dinsel bir \u00e7er\u00e7evede ortaya konmu\u015f oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k bir t\u00fcr tarikat oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in elbette her y\u00f6n\u00fcyle d\u0131\u015fa a\u00e7\u0131k de\u011fildi. Onunla ilgili bilgilerin azl\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde buradan gelir. \u00d6te yandan Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lardan kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 san\u0131lan metinlerin de \u00f6zg\u00fcn olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 son derece tart\u0131\u015fmal\u0131d\u0131r. Yunanistan\u2019da Yedi Bilgeler\u2019in ahlak alan\u0131ndaki ilgin\u00e7 etkinliklerini izleyen zamanlarda Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131 gelenek Orpheus\u2019\u00e7u inan\u00e7 \u00f6geleriyle birle\u015ferek s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 bir tarikat olmaktan \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131 ve bir halk dini olmaya do\u011fru gitti. Bu inan\u00e7 b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcnde daha belirleyici olan Orpheus\u2019\u00e7uluk muydu yoksa Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k m\u0131yd\u0131? Bu konuda belli bir \u015fey s\u00f6yleyebilmek \u00e7ok zordur. Her iki anlay\u0131\u015f da birbirini t\u00fcmleyecek kadar birbirine yak\u0131nd\u0131. Bu inan\u00e7 bile\u015fiminde gene de Pythagoras\u2019\u0131n a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ba\u015fat olmu\u015f olmal\u0131d\u0131r dersek belki de \u00e7ok yanl\u0131\u015f bir \u015fey s\u00f6ylemi\u015f olmay\u0131z. Pythagoras ger\u00e7ekten \u00e7ok etkili bir ki\u015filikti ve say\u0131lara dayal\u0131 felsefesinin gizemci \u00f6zellikleri onu insanlar\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fcnde tanr\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yordu. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k k\u0131sa zamanda dinsel \u00f6zyap\u0131l\u0131 gizli ya da kapal\u0131 bir anlay\u0131\u015f \u00f6zelli\u011fi kazand\u0131. Pythagoras\u2019\u0131n VI. y\u00fczy\u0131lda kurdu\u011fu tarikat\u0131 \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra V. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Philolaos ve IV. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Arkhytas ya\u015fatt\u0131. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar insanlara Yedi Bilgeler\u2019in \u00f6zdeyi\u015flerine benzeyen \u00e7ok k\u0131sa \u00f6zdeyi\u015fler sunmu\u015flard\u0131r. Emile Br\u00e9hier Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n yaln\u0131z felsefe ve din adam\u0131 olmad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, B\u00fcy\u00fck Yunanistan\u2019da sitelerin y\u00f6netimini ele ge\u00e7irmek amac\u0131n\u0131 g\u00fcden siyaset\u00e7iler olduklar\u0131n\u0131 yazar: \u201cDinsel \u00f6rg\u00fctlenme, ionia evrenbilimi, fizi\u011fe dayal\u0131 matematik\u00e7ilik\u2026 bu \u00fc\u00e7 \u00e7izgiye bir ba\u015fka \u00e7izgi eklenir: bu da tarikat\u0131n siyasal etkinli\u011fidir.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Pythagoras: her \u015feyin k\u00f6keninde say\u0131lar var<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcm Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar efendilerinin yani Pythagoras\u2019\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131z benimsiyorlar, konu\u015furken s\u0131k s\u0131k <em>autos epha <\/em>yani \u201co da b\u00f6yle der\u201d diyorlard\u0131. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar ruhu ar\u0131nd\u0131racak tek \u015feyin bilgi oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorlar, ruhg\u00f6\u00e7\u00fcne inan\u0131yorlar, ruhun insandan hayvana ve hayvandan insana ge\u00e7ebilece\u011fini bildiriyorlard\u0131. Felsefenin ad\u0131n\u0131 koyan, bu k\u00f6kl\u00fc d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce alan\u0131 i\u00e7in al\u00e7akg\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc bir y\u00f6nelimle <em>sophos <\/em>(bilge) yerine <em>philosophos<\/em>\u2019u (bilgisever) \u00f6neren Pythagoras felsefe yapmay\u0131 bilgeli\u011fe do\u011fru bir \u00e7aba olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcyordu: felsefe onun i\u00e7in ahlaki ar\u0131nman\u0131n tek yoluydu. Bu ilgin\u00e7 filozofun yolundan gidenler geni\u015f bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr etkinli\u011fi i\u00e7indeydiler: \u00e7e\u015fitli bilimlerle ilgilendikleri gibi Homeros\u2019un ve Hesiodos\u2019un metinlerini yorumlamaya da b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem veriyorlard\u0131. Tarikat\u0131n yanda\u015flar\u0131 birbirlerini bir tak\u0131m i\u015faretlerle tan\u0131yorlard\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Son derece kat\u0131 kurallar\u0131 olan bu inan\u00e7ta ussal g\u00f6r\u00fcnmeyen uygulamalar da vard\u0131. \u00d6rne\u011fin Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar bakla ve ebeg\u00fcmeci yemezlerdi. Kesinlikle de\u011fil ama genellikle hayvan eti de yemezlerdi ve bu y\u00fczden kasaplardan ve avc\u0131lardan uzak dururlard\u0131. Horoz kurban etmezler ve \u00f6zellikle beyaz horoz kesmekten ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131rlard\u0131. Ekme\u011fi koparmazlar ve somunu sonuna kadar t\u00fcketmezlerdi. Ate\u015fi b\u0131\u00e7akla kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmazlard\u0131. Yere d\u00fc\u015feni almazlard\u0131. Y\u00fck\u00fcn\u00fc bo\u015faltan hamala yard\u0131m etmezlerdi. Karanl\u0131kta konu\u015fmazlard\u0131. Bu yasaklar\u0131n neye yarad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve simgesel olarak ne anlama geldi\u011fi belli de\u011fildir. Emile Br\u00e9hier\u2019nin belirtti\u011fi gibi tarikat\u0131n kad\u0131nlara ve yabanc\u0131lara a\u00e7\u0131k olmas\u0131 onun kentsel boyutlardan evrensel a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131mlara uzand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyordu. Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131lar \u201cDostlar aras\u0131nda her \u015fey ortakt\u0131r\u201d derlerdi. Bir Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131 her ak\u015fam kendiyle hesapla\u015fmak i\u00e7in \u015fu \u00fc\u00e7 soruyu kendine sorard\u0131: hangi konuda yanl\u0131\u015f yapt\u0131m, iyi denebilecek ne yapt\u0131m, yapmam gerekenlerin hangisini yapmakta eksik kald\u0131m? Her Pythagoras\u2019\u00e7\u0131 sabah uyan\u0131r uyanmaz o g\u00fcn ne yapaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 planlard\u0131. Tanr\u0131lara ba\u015fe\u011fmek, onlara sayg\u0131 g\u00f6stermek de bir ba\u015fka y\u00fck\u00fcml\u00fcl\u00fckt\u00fc. Tertemiz beyaz bir giysisi vard\u0131, beyaz y\u00fcnden \u00f6rt\u00fcler kullan\u0131rd\u0131, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc keten hen\u00fcz bu b\u00f6lgelere girmemi\u015fti.
