Ayr\u0131ca daha yayvan olan a\u011fa\u00e7 t\u00fcrlerinin ortas\u0131ndan onlar\u0131 y\u0131rtarcas\u0131na aniden dik bir \u015fekilde g\u00f6\u011fe y\u00fckselen bi\u00e7imi \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc bir m\u0131zrak, k\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 veya b\u0131\u00e7ak alg\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 da zihinlerde olu\u015fturur. Nereden bak\u0131l\u0131rsa bak\u0131ls\u0131n servi \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn ve karanl\u0131klar\u0131n a\u011fac\u0131d\u0131r.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>D\u00fcnyada \u00e7ok geni\u015f bir yay\u0131l\u0131\u015f g\u00f6steren servilerin 20 dolay\u0131nda t\u00fcr\u00fc bulunur. \u00dclkemizde ise, Akdeniz servisi (<em>C. sempervirens<\/em>) olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan bir t\u00fcr\u00fcn iki \u00e7e\u015fidi do\u011fal olarak yeti\u015febilmektedir. Uygun ekolojik ko\u015fullarda 20 metre boylanabilen Akdeniz servisi, Akdeniz havzas\u0131na \u00f6zg\u00fc a\u011fa\u00e7 t\u00fcrlerinden birisidir. Koyu ye\u015fil renkli pul yapraklar\u0131 s\u00fcrg\u00fcnlerin \u00fczerini s\u0131k\u0131ca sarm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ortalar\u0131nda ya\u011f bezesi bulunur.<em> C. sempervirens<\/em>, dallar\u0131 d\u00f6rt k\u00f6\u015feli olan ve k\u0131\u015f\u0131n yapra\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00f6kmeyen bir a\u011fa\u00e7t\u0131r. Toros Da\u011flar\u0131\u2019nda (Antalya, Mersin) do\u011fal olarak yeti\u015fir. Dallar\u0131n dik (<em>var. pyramidalis<\/em>) veya yay\u0131k (<em>var. horizontalis<\/em>) olmas\u0131na g\u00f6re iki varyeteye ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Kozalaklar\u0131 k\u00fcremsi \u015fekilli, re\u00e7ine kokulu ve buruk lezzetlidir.<\/p>\n<p>Piramit bi\u00e7imli Akdeniz servisi, ehrami servi, kara selvi veya mezarl\u0131k servisi olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> pyramidalis <\/em>(<em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> sempervirens<\/em>), \u00fclkemizde G\u00fcney ve Bat\u0131 Anadolu\u2019da, denize yak\u0131n y\u00f6relerde daha \u00e7ok park ve bah\u00e7elerde, mezarl\u0131klarda dikilmi\u015f olarak bulunur, orman olu\u015fturmaz. Uzun piramit bi\u00e7imi; g\u00f6vdeye ko\u015fut olarak yukar\u0131ya uzanan s\u0131k dallar\u0131 ve koyu ye\u015fil g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcyle \u00f6teki \u00e7e\u015fitlerden ayr\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Di\u011fer bir \u00e7e\u015fit olan dall\u0131 Akdeniz servisi <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> horizontalis<\/em>, piramit bi\u00e7imli Akdeniz servisinden farkl\u0131 olarak dallar\u0131 g\u00f6vdeye dik bir konumda olup g\u00f6rece kal\u0131nd\u0131r; uzaktan Toros sedirini ya da Toros g\u00f6knar\u0131n\u0131 an\u0131msatacak g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcme sahiptir. \u00dclkemizde yaln\u0131zca Manavgat dolaylar\u0131ndaki K\u00f6pr\u00fcl\u00fc Kanyon\u2019da 500 hektar geni\u015fli\u011finde saf orman ve k\u0131smen de k\u0131z\u0131l\u00e7amla kar\u0131\u015f\u0131k topluluklar olu\u015fturur. \u00dclkemizdeki 1248 hektarl\u0131k toplam servi orman\u0131n\u0131n % 96\u2019s\u0131 Antalya ilinde bulunur. Ancak G\u00fcney ve Bat\u0131 Anadolu\u2019nun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra daha az olmak \u00fczere Karadeniz B\u00f6lgesinin k\u0131y\u0131 k\u0131s\u0131mlar\u0131nda da tek tek bulunabilmektedir. \u00dclkemizdeki parklarda genellikle mavi servi olarak bilinen <em>Cupressus arizonica<\/em> yeti\u015ftirilir. Bu t\u00fcr do\u011fal olarak Meksika ve Arizona da\u011flar\u0131nda yeti\u015fmekte olup dallar\u0131 g\u00f6vdeye diktir. (1, 3, 12)<\/p>\n<p>Akdeniz servisi olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> horizontalis<\/em>, 20 metreye kadar boylan\u0131r. Do\u011fu Akdeniz, Kuzey Irak, \u0130ran, Anadolu, K\u0131br\u0131s, Girit ve Ege adalar\u0131nda yeti\u015fir. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Ege ve Akdeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131nda g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr. Odunu \u00e7ok sert ve dayan\u0131kl\u0131d\u0131r, ayn\u0131 zamanda g\u00fczel kokuludur. Hi\u00e7bir a\u011fa\u00e7 t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn yeti\u015fmedi\u011fi zay\u0131f topraklarda bile yeti\u015fir. Piramidal Akdeniz servisi <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var<em>. pyramidalis<\/em>, her zaman ye\u015fil, s\u0131k dall\u0131, dallar\u0131 g\u00f6vdeye paralel olacak \u015fekilde yukar\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, s\u00fctun bi\u00e7iminde a\u011fa\u00e7lard\u0131r. 20-30 metreye kadar boylanabilir ve 600-700 y\u0131l ya\u015fayabilir. Odunu \u00e7ok sert ve dayan\u0131kl\u0131d\u0131r, g\u00fczel kokuludur. Bir Akdeniz a\u011fac\u0131 olan bu t\u00fcr T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Akdeniz ikliminin oldu\u011fu alanlarda yeti\u015fir. \u0130stanbul Fenerbah\u00e7e Burnu\u2019nda Kanuni zaman\u0131nda dikilmi\u015f 450 ya\u015f\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131n sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 \u00f6rnekler bulunur. (2)<\/p>\n<p>Servi a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131 \u00f6ylesine serttir ki, b\u00f6cekler bile zarar vermeyi g\u00f6ze alamaz. A\u011fac\u0131n keskin kokusu ayr\u0131ca g\u00fcveleri uzakla\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra yap\u0131ld\u0131klar\u0131 sand\u0131klar\u0131n i\u00e7indeki giysilere \u00e7ok ho\u015f bir koku kazand\u0131r\u0131r. Bu nedenledir ki Anadolu halk\u0131 gelinlik k\u0131zlar\u0131n \u00e7eyiz sand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 servi a\u011fac\u0131 odunundan yapar. (12) Bodrum y\u00f6resinde <em>C.<\/em> <em>sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> horizontalis<\/em> yakacak olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131r, g\u00f6vdesinden mezar tahtas\u0131, a\u011fac\u0131ndan sand\u0131k ve elbise dolab\u0131 yap\u0131l\u0131r; bu malzemeler ho\u015f kokulu ortam sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, sand\u0131\u011fa ve dolaba b\u00f6cek girmez. Kozalaklar\u0131 eskiden \u00e7ocuk oyunlar\u0131nda misket olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131, bu kozalaklar Bodrum\u2019da maz\u0131 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r, oyuna da maz\u0131 oyunu denir. (15)<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de <em>C. sempervirens<\/em>\u2019in kozalaklar\u0131ndan pembe ve kahverengi boya elde edilir. (21) Van y\u00f6resinde kozalaklar\u0131ndan kahverengi boya elde edilir. (22)<\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde servi kozala\u011f\u0131 estetik ama\u00e7larla makyaj malzemesi kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak da kullan\u0131l\u0131r: Servi kozala\u011f\u0131 havanda d\u00f6v\u00fcld\u00fckten sonra limon suyu, lavanta \u00e7i\u00e7e\u011fi ve 5 adet \u00e7am tomurcu\u011fu ile birlikte 1 litre suya konur ve kaynat\u0131l\u0131r. Elde edilen su s\u00fcz\u00fclerek bir \u015fi\u015feye konur. Bu kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m ile ka\u015flar g\u00fcnde bir kez y\u0131kanarak koyu renkli ve dolgun ka\u015flar elde edilir. (20)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Anadolu halk t\u0131bb\u0131nda servi<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anadolu\u2019da servinin halk t\u0131bb\u0131nda da geni\u015f bir kullan\u0131m alan\u0131 bulunur. Daha \u00e7ok mezarl\u0131klarda g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz bu a\u011fac\u0131n kozalaklar\u0131 ate\u015f d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc, terletici ve idrar art\u0131r\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca haricen ayak kokular\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131r. (20) <em>C. sempervirens<\/em>, kozalaklar\u0131nda tanen ve u\u00e7ucu ya\u011f ta\u015f\u0131r. Kozalaklar\u0131n\u0131n dekoksiyonu kab\u0131z edici, ate\u015f d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc, terletici, idrar artt\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 ve kan kesicidir. Haricen basura ve kokulu ayak terlemelerine kar\u015f\u0131 kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Servi eskiden beri, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n gece i\u015femelerine kar\u015f\u0131 kullan\u0131l\u0131r. On ya\u015f\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n gece i\u015femelerini kesmek i\u00e7in, alt\u0131 g\u00fcn s\u00fcreyle \u00f6\u011fle ve ak\u015fam yemeklerinde \u00e7ocu\u011fa 30-40 damla servi kozala\u011f\u0131 tent\u00fcr\u00fc, bir fincan suya damlat\u0131larak i\u00e7irilir. Yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar da bu etkinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 do\u011frulam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Basura kar\u015f\u0131 servi kozala\u011f\u0131 \u00f6z\u00fc ile haz\u0131rlanm\u0131\u015f merhem kullan\u0131l\u0131r veya servi kozala\u011f\u0131 dekoksiyonu ile basur memelerine pansuman yap\u0131l\u0131r. (19) Konya dolay\u0131ndaki aktarlarda <em>C. sempervirens<\/em>\u2019in kozalak ve meyveleri t\u0131bbi ama\u00e7larla sat\u0131l\u0131r. (23) Hatay\u2019\u0131n Yaylada\u011f\u0131 \u0130l\u00e7esinin K\u0131\u015flak Beldesinde \u201cand\u0131z\u201d olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan <em>C. Sempervirens<\/em> g\u00f6z hastal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n tedavisinde kullan\u0131l\u0131r. (14)<\/p>\n<p>Antalya, Mersin ve Mu\u011fla\u2019da and\u0131z olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var. <em>horizontalis<\/em>\u2019ten hem insanlar hem de hayvanlar i\u00e7in ila\u00e7 yap\u0131\u0131r. Bu bitki kalp-damar hastal\u0131klar\u0131, k\u00f6rpe meyveleri yenmek suretiyle so\u011fuk alg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 (Grip, nezle) gibi hastal\u0131klarda kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Kozalaklar\u0131n\u0131n kaynat\u0131lmas\u0131yla elde edilen su ile kozalaklar\u0131ndan haz\u0131rlanan pekmez (and\u0131z pekmezi) Mersin (Arslank\u00f6y) y\u00f6resinde dahilen \u00fclser tedavisinde, kozalaklar\u0131n\u0131n ya\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6\u011fse ve s\u0131rta s\u00fcr\u00fclerek so\u011fuk alg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131, kozalaklar\u0131ndan haz\u0131rlanan kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m ile dal ve g\u00f6vdesinden haz\u0131rlanan katran kalp-damar hastal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n tedavisinde ve damar sertli\u011fi i\u00e7in, bu katran hayvanlar\u0131n a\u011f\u0131z kenar\u0131nda olu\u015fan yaralar\u0131n\u0131n tedavisinde kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Katran\u0131 hayvanlara yalat\u0131larak i\u015ftah a\u00e7\u0131c\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131r, y\u0131lan sokan hayvanlara kaynat\u0131lm\u0131\u015f servi katran\u0131 buhar\u0131 koklat\u0131l\u0131r. (15, 16)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em> Sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> sempervirens <\/em>(var.<em> pyramidata<\/em>) ise Bodrum\u2019da bah\u00e7e aralar\u0131nda \u00e7it bitkisi ve r\u00fczg\u00e2r kesici, yelken dire\u011fi yap\u0131m\u0131nda kullan\u0131l\u0131r, kozalaklar\u0131yla \u00e7ocuklar misket oynar. (15) Bu servi \u00e7e\u015fidinin kozalaklar\u0131n\u0131n kaynat\u0131lmas\u0131 suretiyle elde edilen suyu \u00c7anakkale-Ezine dolay\u0131nda sabahlar\u0131 a\u00e7 karn\u0131na 1 \u00e7ay barda\u011f\u0131 dolusu i\u00e7ilerek kan \u015fekerini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrmek amac\u0131yla; Mu\u011fla\u2019da katran\u0131 haricen yan\u0131k tedavisinde, ayr\u0131ca hayvanlar\u0131n mide rahats\u0131zl\u0131klar\u0131nda onlara i\u00e7irilmek suretiyle yararlan\u0131l\u0131r. \u00c7anakkale\u2019nin Bayrami\u00e7 il\u00e7esinde <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> sempervirens<\/em>\u2019in kozalaklar\u0131 kaynat\u0131lmak suretiyle haz\u0131rlanan \u00e7ay\u0131 di\u015f a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 ve sa\u00e7 esteti\u011fi amac\u0131yla haricen kullan\u0131l\u0131r. (17)<\/li>\n<li><em> sempervirens,<\/em> mezarl\u0131klar ve bah\u00e7elerde yeti\u015ftirilir. (3) Manisa ve Mu\u011fla\u2019da kara servi olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan <em>C. sempervirens <\/em>var.<em> sempervirens <\/em>\u00f6zellikle mezarl\u0131klarda yeti\u015ftirilen ince uzun yap\u0131da bir a\u011fa\u00e7t\u0131r. (18) Kara servi veya piramidal servi Akdeniz ikliminin hakim oldu\u011fu \u00f6zellikle bat\u0131 ve g\u00fcney b\u00f6lgelerimiz a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kta olmak kayd\u0131yla \u00fclkemizin \u00e7o\u011fu yerinde mezarl\u0131k a\u011fac\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131r.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Mitolojide ve kutsal metinlerde servi<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Piramidal Akdeniz servisi \u00e7ok eski \u00e7a\u011flardan beri farkl\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerde kutsal a\u011fa\u00e7 olarak kabul edilmi\u015ftir. Uzaktan bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck ye\u015fil bir alev g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcs\u00fcnde olan bu a\u011fa\u00e7, ate\u015fe tapan ilkel toplumlardan bu yana daha \u00e7ok mabetlerde ve mezarl\u0131klarda yeti\u015ftirilmektedir. \u00d6l\u00fcms\u00fczl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc temsil etti\u011fine inan\u0131l\u0131r. Hatta bu tap\u0131naklar\u0131n \u00e7ekirde\u011fini olu\u015fturan arkaik \u00e7a\u011f Apollon sunaklar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7evresindeki servi koruluklar\u0131 klasik \u00e7a\u011fda mermer s\u00fctunlara evrilmi\u015f olmal\u0131d\u0131r. Nitekim \u00f6zellikle dipteros formundaki Apollon tap\u0131naklar\u0131ndaki s\u00fctunlar bir servi korulu\u011fu alg\u0131s\u0131 da yarat\u0131rlar.\u00a0\u00a0 Antik\u00e7a\u011f inanc\u0131nda servi, mersin ve zeytinle birlikte Tanr\u0131\u00e7a Artemis\u2019in sevdi\u011fi \u00fc\u00e7 a\u011fa\u00e7tan biridir. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n yedi harikas\u0131ndan biri olan Efes Artemis Tap\u0131na\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n kap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n M\u00d6 1. y\u00fczy\u0131lda oymal\u0131 serviden yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f halde oldu\u011fu kay\u0131tl\u0131d\u0131r.
