Bir zamanlar\u0131n \u0130stanbullu zenginlerin kumar ve golf oynamak i\u00e7in kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131, a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 Turgut \u00d6zal\u2019\u0131n yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00fclkenin ilk be\u015f y\u0131ld\u0131zl\u0131, neo-klasik cepheli, postmodern elemanlarla s\u00fcsl\u00fc ve g\u00f6steri\u015fli otellerinden Silivri\u2019deki\u00a0Klassis Golf Oteli\u2019nin mimar\u0131 \u015eefik Birkiye idi. Daha \u00e7ok Bel\u00e7ika\u2019da ve Bat\u0131 Avrupa\u2019da \u00fcretim yapan Birkiye\u2019nin T\u00fcrkiye devleti ile ili\u015fkisi ise hep s\u0131cak kalm\u0131\u015f. Ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz y\u0131llarda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan\u00a0lale formlu g\u00f6kdelenleri\u00a0ile b\u00fcy\u00fck tart\u0131\u015fma yaratan yeni Haydarpa\u015fa projesinin arkas\u0131nda da ayn\u0131 mimar var. \u015eu s\u0131ralar in\u015faat\u0131 tamamlanmak \u00fczere olan eski \u015ean Tiyatrosu\u2019nun ve Surp Agop Hastanesi\u2019nin yerine yap\u0131lmakta olan yine neo-klasik tarz\u0131nda tasarlanm\u0131\u015f\u00a0\u015ean City\u00a0AVM\u2019nin mimar\u0131 ve orta\u011f\u0131 da \u015eefik Birkiye. Sadece bina \u00f6l\u00e7e\u011finde de\u011fil kentsel planlama \u00f6l\u00e7e\u011finde de i\u015fler \u00fcretmeye ba\u015flayan Birkiye\u2019nin \u015firketi Vizzion\u2019un son projelerinden biri de Erdo\u011fan\u2019\u0131n ikinci \u0130stanbul diye nitelendirdi\u011fi Karedeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131nda yap\u0131lmas\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen\u00a0Kuzey \u0130stanbul\u00a0yerle\u015fimi.<\/p>\n<p>Mimari yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131na ve devletle olan ili\u015fkisine bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u015eefik Birkiye T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin Rob Krier\u2019i diye nitelendirilebilir. \u00d6yle g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcyor ki AKP muhafazakar bir g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc gerektiren cami, iskele, k\u00fct\u00fcphane, k\u00fclt\u00fcr merkezi gibi daha kamusal projelerde modifiye Sel\u00e7uklu-Osmanl\u0131 mimarl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 benimsemi\u015f Hilmi \u015eenalp\u2019i kullan\u0131rken varl\u0131kl\u0131 kesime hitap edecek otel, i\u015f merkezi, rezidans ve ba\u015fbakanl\u0131k saray\u0131 gibi prestijli ve g\u00f6steri\u015f odakl\u0131 yap\u0131larda neo-klasik ve postmodern ak\u0131m\u0131nda ustala\u015fm\u0131\u015f Birkiye ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 tercih ediyor.<\/p>\n<p>Tarihsel referanslarla, \u00e7o\u011fu kez esinlenmenin \u00f6tesinde kopyalanm\u0131\u015f g\u00f6rsel par\u00e7alar\u0131n bir araya getirildi\u011fi eklektik neo-klasik bir \u00fcslupla \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan bu iki mimar\u0131n AKP y\u00f6netimince benimsenmesi, g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcn\u00fcn i\u00e7erikten daha \u00f6nemli oldu\u011fu g\u00fcncel politik felsefenin mimariye yans\u0131mas\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n<p>1980\u2019lerle birlikte d\u00fcnyada y\u00fckselen postmodern estetik ak\u0131m\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye \u00d6zal d\u00f6nemi s\u0131ras\u0131nda yans\u0131mas\u0131 ile mimarl\u0131k \u00fcretimi de g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcn\u00fcn hakimiyeti alt\u0131na girmi\u015fti. Dekorasyon kelimesinin \u015fahlanmas\u0131 da bu d\u00f6neme denk gelmektedir muhtemelen. \u201cDekore etmek\u201d fiili ilk kez 14. y\u00fczy\u0131lda \u015f\u00f6valyeleri onurland\u0131rmak i\u00e7in asl\u0131nda kendisine ait olmayan sonradan \u201ctak\u0131lan\u201d madalyon benzeri s\u00fcsler i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131rken, 18. y\u00fczy\u0131lda \u201cyan\u0131lt\u0131c\u0131 bir g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc\u201d, \u201cg\u00fczelle\u015ftirme\u201d ve \u201ckaplama\u201d anlam\u0131 ile yayg\u0131nla\u015fmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f. S\u00fcslemek, bir \u015feyi kapatmak, oldu\u011fundan farkl\u0131 g\u00f6stermek gibi anlamlara gelen bir kelimenin \u00e7a\u011f\u0131n ruhu ile birlikte T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ciddi bir mesle\u011fe d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fmesi, pop\u00fclerle\u015fmesi ve 20 y\u0131l kadar sonra da politik bir tav\u0131r olarak benimsenmesine \u015fahit olduk.<\/p>\n<p>AKP h\u00fck\u00fcmetinin en temel felsefesi icraatlar\u0131n\u0131n toplumsal yayg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve etkinli\u011finden \u00e7ok nas\u0131l g\u00f6r\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve bu g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcn\u00fcn alg\u0131lan\u0131\u015f\u0131 \u00fczerine olmas\u0131yd\u0131. Uzun vadede sonu\u00e7 al\u0131nabilecek kal\u0131c\u0131 etkili politikalar yerine k\u0131sa vadeli ancak etkisi b\u00fcy\u00fck, \u015fok kararlar\u0131 benimseyerek, bunlar\u0131n manip\u00fclasyonu ile u\u011fra\u015fan AKP\u2019nin derin ve uzak g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fl\u00fc bir siyaset yerine y\u00fczeysel ve \u00e7abuk sonu\u00e7 veren, nitelikten \u00e7ok niceli\u011fi hedefleyen manevralarla me\u015fgul oldu\u011funu son on sene i\u00e7inde fazlas\u0131 tecr\u00fcbe ettik.<\/p>\n<p>Bu politik iklim i\u00e7inde elbette de\u011feri kendinden menkul br\u00fct bir estetik anlay\u0131\u015f ve tektonik bir mimarl\u0131k yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 yerine g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcye, kopyaya ve pasti\u015fe yaslanm\u0131\u015f bir \u00fcretim makbul konuma ge\u00e7mekte. \u015eefik Birkiye\u2019nin neo-klasik devasa b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckte ve r\u00fck\u00fc\u015fl\u00fckteki projeleri veya Hilmi \u015eenalp\u2019in Osmanl\u0131-Sel\u00e7uklu modifikasyonlu replikalar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra AKP\u2019li belediyelerin ana arterlerdeki binalar\u0131 \u201cestetize\u201d etti\u011fi\u00a0cephe g\u00fczelle\u015ftirme\u00a0projeleri, TOK\u0130\u2019nin \u201cyerel mimari unsurlarla\u201d bezedi\u011fi t\u00fcnel-kal\u0131p prizma konut bloklar\u0131 da ayn\u0131 anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n tezah\u00fcrleri asl\u0131nda.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<p>Sadece politikac\u0131lar\u0131n de\u011fil toplum olu\u015fturan bireylerin genel hayata bak\u0131\u015f\u0131 ve felsefesi de yapay g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerle dolu bu ortam\u0131n canl\u0131 tutulmas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli bir etken. \u201cGiydirilmi\u015f\u201d masa ve sandalyelerde strafordan yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 halde kesiliyormu\u015f gibi yap\u0131lan d\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn pastalar\u0131n\u0131n yeniliyormu\u015f gibi yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 evlilik t\u00f6renlerinin yayg\u0131n oldu\u011fu bir co\u011frafyada mantolanm\u0131\u015f binalar, k\u0131l\u0131fl\u0131 cepheler, taklit yap\u0131lar g\u00f6rmekte bir gariplik yok. Her t\u00fcrl\u00fc yap\u0131sal kusuru kapatmak i\u00e7in binlerce \u00e7e\u015fitte kaplama malzemesi piyasada bulunmakta.
