Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za 100 km\u2019nin alt\u0131nda bir mesafede y\u00f6r\u00fcngede olan Rosetta sayesinde Avrupa Uzay Ajans\u0131 (ESA) bir kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n bu kadar yak\u0131ndan \u00e7ekilen ilk g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerini de yay\u0131nlam\u0131\u015f oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Rosetta Projesinin internet sitesinden her g\u00fcn \u00e7ekilen y\u00fcksek \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fcrl\u00fckl\u00fc foto\u011fraflara eri\u015fmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn. Edindi\u011fimiz bilgiler foto\u011fraflar\u0131n \u00e7ok daha \u00f6tesinde elbette. Y\u00f6r\u00fcngede ge\u00e7en zaman i\u00e7erisinde edinilen bilgilerle birlikte kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za dair baz\u0131 \u00f6nemli noktalar\u0131 aktaral\u0131m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n neresine ini\u015f yap\u0131lacak?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Derginin bir \u00f6nceki say\u0131s\u0131nda yay\u0131mlanan, Rosetta Projesiyle ilgili yaz\u0131mda da aktard\u0131\u011f\u0131m gibi, y\u00f6r\u00fcngede ge\u00e7en s\u00fcre i\u00e7erisinde kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n haritaland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131, Kas\u0131m 2014\u2019te ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmesi planlanan y\u00fczeye ini\u015f i\u00e7in olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli. Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z biri g\u00f6rece ufak, di\u011feri ise daha b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u00fcresel say\u0131labilecek iki k\u00fctlenin birle\u015fmesiyle olu\u015fmu\u015f gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcyor. Y\u00f6r\u00fcngeye girmeden \u00f6nce uzaktan elde edilen veriler bu bilginin sinyallerini vermi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n bu ola\u011fan say\u0131lamayacak \u015fekli, ini\u015f b\u00f6lgesinin se\u00e7imini daha \u00f6zel hale getiriyor. G\u00fcvenli\u011fin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra bilimsel a\u00e7\u0131ndan en faydal\u0131 se\u00e7eneklerin de de\u011ferlendirilmesi gerekiyor. Zira ini\u015f yapacak olan Philae (y\u00fczeye ini\u015f robotu), Mars\u2019a g\u00f6nderilen uzay ara\u00e7lar\u0131 gibi yer de\u011fi\u015ftiremeyecek.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ni\u015f i\u00e7in d\u00fcz bir y\u00fczeyin se\u00e7ilmesi olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli. \u0130ni\u015f an\u0131nda g\u00fcne\u015f \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n al\u0131n\u0131yor olmas\u0131 da g\u00fcne\u015f panellerinin elektrik ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131layabilmesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli. Gene kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z \u00fczerindeki gece g\u00fcnd\u00fcz oranlar\u0131 da Philae \u00fczerindeki bilimsel \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm cihazlar\u0131n\u0131n enerji ihtiyac\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131yor. Yeri gelmi\u015fken belirtelim, kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z yakla\u015f\u0131k 12 saatte kendi etraf\u0131nda bir tur d\u00f6n\u00fcyor. \u0130ni\u015f yap\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra Philae ile y\u00f6r\u00fcngede kalan Rosetta aras\u0131ndaki radyo dalgas\u0131 iletiminin kopmamas\u0131 da ini\u015f i\u00e7in g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcnde bulundurulacak. M\u00fchendis ve biliminsanlar\u0131n\u0131n 10 kadar b\u00f6lge aras\u0131ndan \u00fczerinde ortak kan\u0131ya vard\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00f6lgeye ini\u015f i\u00e7in ad\u0131mlar at\u0131lmaya ba\u015flayacak.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n k\u00fctlesi ve s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rosetta kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za yakla\u015ft\u0131k\u00e7a, kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n k\u00fctle\u00e7ekim etkisi de \u015fiddetlendi. Rosetta\u2019n\u0131n rotas\u0131ndaki sapmalardan faydalan\u0131larak yap\u0131lan \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmler sayesinde, k\u00fctle hesaplamalar\u0131 yap\u0131labildi. \u0130lk yap\u0131lan tahminler y\u00fczde 10\u2019luk hata pay\u0131yla birlikte 10 milyar tonluk bir k\u00fctlesi oldu\u011fu y\u00f6n\u00fcnde. \u0130lerleyen g\u00fcnlerde kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za daha yak\u0131n mesafelerden yap\u0131lan ge\u00e7i\u015flerle k\u00fctlenin daha isabetli hesaplanmas\u0131 hedefleniyor.<\/p>\n<p>Yap\u0131lan s\u0131cakl\u0131k \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmleri, y\u00fczey s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n -70 <sup>o<\/sup>C oldu\u011funu g\u00f6steriyor. Bu beklenin 20-30 <sup>o<\/sup>C \u00fczerinde bir de\u011fer. Biliminsanlar\u0131 kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131zdaki buz k\u00fctlesinin y\u00fczeyde tozlar taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7evrelendi\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyor. B\u00f6ylece renk fark\u0131ndan kaynakl\u0131 olarak y\u00fczey s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 di\u011fer kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131zlara g\u00f6re biraz y\u00fcksek.<\/p>\n<p>Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n y\u00fczeyinde gece-g\u00fcnd\u00fcz fark\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 olu\u015fan s\u0131cakl\u0131k de\u011fi\u015fimleri de detayl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde g\u00f6zlemleniyor. B\u00f6ylece y\u00fczeyin \u0131s\u0131 iletkenli\u011fi incelenerek y\u00fczey hakk\u0131nda daha detayl\u0131 bilgiler elde edilmi\u015f olacak.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIADA kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za \u201cdokundu\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rosetta \u00fczerinde bulunan \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm ayg\u0131tlar\u0131ndan birisi olan GIADA, 67P\/C-G kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n etraf\u0131nda bulunan toz taneciklerini incelemek \u00fczere geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f. GIADA toz taneciklerinin say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131, momentumunu, k\u00fctlesini ve h\u0131z da\u011f\u0131l\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131 inceleyecek. \u0130lk toz par\u00e7ac\u0131\u011f\u0131 1 A\u011fustos\u2019ta kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131zdan 814 km uzakl\u0131kta \u00e7arpt\u0131. B\u00f6ylece kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za ait maddeyle ilk temas ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015f oldu. Kuyrukluy\u0131ld\u0131za yakla\u015f\u0131ld\u0131k\u00e7a \u00e7arpan toz par\u00e7ac\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131 da \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde artt\u0131. \u00c7arpan par\u00e7ac\u0131klar\u0131n \u00e7aplar\u0131 sa\u00e7 teli kal\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla k\u0131yaslanabilecek boyutlarda.
