Erzurum Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde yap\u0131lan kongrenin bu y\u0131lki temas\u0131 \u201cK\u0131z\u0131l\u00f6tesi Astronomisi\u201d idi. \u00c7o\u011funlukla k\u0131z\u0131l\u00f6tesi astronomisinden faydalanarak yap\u0131lan akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 etkinlikte, ana konunun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz kongreden bu yana g\u00f6kta\u015f\u0131 avc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan \u00f6te gezegenlere, g\u00f6kada k\u00fcmelerinden kara deliklere kadar, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, sunumlar ile tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. Temel amac\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye astronomi camias\u0131n\u0131n ileti\u015fim halinde olmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak olan UAK\u2019\u0131n ana hedef kitlesi y\u00fcksek lisans ve doktora \u00f6\u011frencileri. Biliminsanlar\u0131 ile biliminsan\u0131 adaylar\u0131, yapt\u0131klar\u0131 akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 sunumlu yahut posterli bildiriler ile kongreye kat\u0131lan di\u011fer biliminsanlar\u0131 ile payla\u015fma olana\u011f\u0131 elde ettiler. Kongrenin ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmesi i\u00e7in ba\u015fta Erzurum Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi Astrofizik Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi ATASAM ve yerel organizasyon kurulunun ba\u015f\u0131nda bulunan ODT\u00dc Amat\u00f6r Astronomi Toplulu\u011fu olmak \u00fczere farkl\u0131 kurumlardan bir\u00e7ok ekip canla ba\u015fla \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. T\u00dcB\u0130TAK taraf\u0131ndan da desteklenen 20. UAK\u2019\u0131n Erzurum\u2019da organize edilmesinin temel nedeni, o b\u00f6lge in\u015fa edilecek olan Do\u011fu Anadolu G\u00f6zlemevi\u2019ne dikkat \u00e7ekmekti.<\/p>\n<p>5-9 Eyl\u00fcl tarihleri aras\u0131nda yap\u0131lan kongrenin a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f konu\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan ilk olarak Bilim, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 temsilcileri taraf\u0131ndan T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin Avrupa G\u00fcney G\u00f6zlemevi \u00fcyelik ba\u015fvurusu ve T\u00fcrkiye Uzay Ajans\u0131 kurulum s\u00fcre\u00e7leri hakk\u0131nda konu\u015fmalar yap\u0131ld\u0131. Ard\u0131ndan \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00fcniversitelerde yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f veri analizleri ve analizler \u00fczerinden yap\u0131lan modellemelerden s\u00f6z edildi. Yap\u0131lan konu\u015fmalar\u0131n ard\u0131ndan da bir kokteyl d\u00fczenlendi. Kongrenin ikinci g\u00fcn\u00fc ise DAG\u2019a ait sunumlar ve projenin \u015fu anki durumu hakk\u0131nda konu\u015fmalar yap\u0131ld\u0131. G\u00fcn sonunda yerden yakla\u015f\u0131k 3100 metre y\u00fckseklikte bulunan in\u015faat sahas\u0131na gezi yap\u0131ld\u0131. Saha \u00f6n\u00fcnde en g\u00fcncel bilgilendirmelerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan Atat\u00fcrk \u00dcniversitesi kampusuna geri d\u00f6n\u00fcld\u00fc. Kongrenin geri kalan g\u00fcnlerinde ise \u00d6te Gezegen \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, G\u00f6kada Sistemleri, Radyo Astronomisi, Astronomi Tarihi ve E\u011fitim Bilimleri ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 oturumlar yap\u0131ld\u0131. Kongre sonunda ise T\u00fcrk Astronomi Derne\u011fi\u2019nin ola\u011fan toplant\u0131s\u0131 yap\u0131ld\u0131. Bir sonraki UAK\u2019\u0131n Kayseri Erciyes \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde yap\u0131lmas\u0131na karar verilirken, derne\u011fin y\u00f6netim kurulu da de\u011fi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrk Astronomi Derne\u011fi (TAD), 1954 y\u0131l\u0131nda T\u00fcrkiye astronomi camias\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6rg\u00fctl\u00fc halde bulunmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de astronomi ile ilgilenen insan say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rmak ama\u00e7lar\u0131yla kurulmu\u015f, ayn\u0131 zamanda bir meslek \u00f6rg\u00fct\u00fc misyonu \u00fcstlenen bir dernektir. Dernek, \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00fcniversitelerde say\u0131s\u0131z konferanslar organize etmi\u015f, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin iki b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00f6zlemevi projesi olan T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Ulusal G\u00f6zlemevi (TUG) ve DAG\u2019\u0131n ana destek\u00e7isi olmu\u015f, T\u00fcrkiye g\u00f6kta\u015f\u0131 g\u00f6zlem a\u011f\u0131 ekiplerinin bir araya gelmesini sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 80\u2019li y\u0131llardan bu yana yay\u0131n organ\u0131 olan <em>G\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fc B\u00fclteni<\/em> dergisini \u00e7\u0131karmaya devam etmektedir. Dergi, TAD kontrol\u00fc alt\u0131nda y\u0131llar boyunca farkl\u0131 gruplar taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131kart\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 2000\u2019li y\u0131llar boyunca ODT\u00dc Amat\u00f6r Astronomi Toplulu\u011fu taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lan dergi, bas\u0131l\u0131 formattan \u00e7ekilip e-dergi olarak devam ettikten sonra bu y\u0131lki Eyl\u00fcl-Ekim say\u0131s\u0131 ile birlikte bas\u0131l\u0131 yay\u0131n hayat\u0131na geri d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. TAD, t\u00fcm bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra y\u0131llard\u0131r astronomlar\u0131n \u00f6zellikle yapt\u0131klar\u0131 bilim \u015fenliklerinde ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131 b\u00fcrokratik zorluklar\u0131 a\u015fmak amac\u0131 ile \u00e7e\u015fitli yaz\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 \u00fcstlenmekte. Ayr\u0131ca bu y\u0131llarda u\u011fra\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u015fler aras\u0131nda liselerdeki Astronomi derslerini \u201cAstronomi ve Uzay Bilimleri\u201d mezunlar\u0131n\u0131n verebilmesi i\u00e7in Milli E\u011fitim Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar da g\u00f6sterilebilir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde h\u00e2l\u00e2 y\u0131lmadan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcren dernek, iki y\u0131lda bir yap\u0131lan UAK\u2019lar\u0131 da organize etmekte, UAK\u2019larda da \u201cEn iyi s\u00f6zl\u00fc bildiri\u201d ile \u201cEn iyi yaz\u0131l\u0131 bildiri\u201d \u00f6d\u00fcllerini vermektedir. Bu sene dernek, \u201cEn iyi yaz\u0131l\u0131 bildiri\u201d \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc vermeye lay\u0131k kimse bulamad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylerken, \u201cEn iyi s\u00f6zl\u00fc bildiri\u201d \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131ndan \u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fc Harvard-Smithsonian Astrofizik Merkezi\u2019nde y\u00fcksek lisans\u0131n\u0131 yapan \u015eeyma Mercimek\u2019e verildi.<\/p>\n<p>Bir UAK daha sona ererken, iki y\u0131lda bir kongreden kongreye g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fen y\u00fcksek \u00f6\u011frenim \u00f6\u011frencileri, bir sonraki kongreye kadar veda ettiler ve \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na d\u00f6nd\u00fcler. Yeni y\u00f6netimi belli olan TAD, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc ve etkinlik i\u00e7inde bulunan profes\u00f6rlerimiz kongre sayesinde beraber \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabilecekleri yeni \u00f6\u011frenciler buldular. Ayn\u0131 zamanda Kafkas hatt\u0131nda var olan g\u00f6zlemevi eksikli\u011fi de DAG sayesinde doldurulmu\u015f olacak. Kalk\u0131nma Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00fct\u00e7esi ile ortak y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen teleskopun t\u00fcm kullan\u0131m haklar\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin biliminsanlar\u0131nda olacak. Teleskopa ait ayna sistemleri ile ana motoru \u0130svi\u00e7re\u2019de Vaud kentinde bulunan m\u00fchendislik enstit\u00fcs\u00fc HEIG-VD (Haute Ecole d&#8217;Ing\u00e9nierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud) ile ortak y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla in\u015fa edilmekte. 2019 y\u0131l\u0131nda teleskoptan ilk \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131n al\u0131nmas\u0131 beklenirken g\u00f6zlemevinin bulundu\u011fu da\u011f, ba\u015fka \u00fclkelerin ve kurumlar\u0131n\u0131n da teleskop kurabilmesini kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmak ad\u0131na teleferik sistemleri ile donat\u0131lm\u0131\u015f durumda. \u0130lerleyen zamanlarda da Erzurum B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi, kademe kademe g\u00f6zlemevi b\u00f6lgesini \u0131\u015f\u0131ks\u0131zland\u0131racak.
