Yeni yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma sonucu ortaya konan ve <em>Nature<\/em>\u2019da ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz ay yay\u0131mlanan haritada bu belirsizlik biraz olsun giderilebildi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6nemli detaylar\u0131yla ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan harita, otizm, \u015fizofreni, bunama, epilepsi gibi beyin hastal\u0131klar\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131 rahatlatacak gibi duruyor. Biliminsanlar\u0131, bu hastal\u0131klardan mustarip bireylerin beyinleriyle sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 bireylerin beyinlerini kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131p aradaki farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131 ortaya koyabilecekler. Ayr\u0131ca sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 beynin \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma \u015fifrelerini \u00e7\u00f6zme ve bizi t\u00fcr olarak farkl\u0131 k\u0131lan y\u00f6nleri belirleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na da katk\u0131 sa\u011flanm\u0131\u015f olacak.<\/p>\n<p>Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar, Minnesota ve Oxford \u00dcniversiteleri\u2019nin ortakla\u015fa yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131, Dr. David Van Essen\u2019in \u00f6nderli\u011finde be\u015f y\u0131l s\u00fcren \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma sonucu \u00fcretilmi\u015f veri ve y\u00f6ntemleri kulland\u0131lar. (\u0130nsan Konnektom Projesi, beynin t\u00fcm sinir ve n\u00f6ron a\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steren diyagram\u0131 olu\u015fturma projesi). Proje kapsam\u0131nda 1200 gen\u00e7 eri\u015fkin bireyin beyinleri, MRI y\u00f6ntemiyle haritaland\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131. Beyin b\u00f6lgeleri dikkatlice tan\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bunlar aras\u0131ndaki ba\u011flant\u0131lar da daha kesin bi\u00e7imde g\u00f6sterilebildi.<\/p>\n<p>Yeni harita hem sol hem de sa\u011f beyin yar\u0131mk\u00fcrelerini, fiziksel farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 (korteksin kal\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi), i\u015flevsel ayr\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131 (s\u00f6zel uyar\u0131ya yan\u0131t verebilme gibi), b\u00f6lgeler aras\u0131 ba\u011flant\u0131 farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 temel alacak \u015fekilde 180 b\u00f6lgeye ay\u0131rabildi. Beyin haritalamas\u0131, beyinlerin hepsi y\u00fczeysel olarak birbirinin ayn\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7in, \u015furada \u201cda\u011f\u201d, \u015furada da bir \u201cnehir\u201d var \u015feklinde kolay \u00e7izilemez. Harita, topografik \u00f6zelliklerden \u00e7ok \u00fclke s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 belirleyen bir haritaya benzeyecektir. Beynin nas\u0131l \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlamak istiyorsak bu ba\u011flant\u0131 ve organizasyon \u015femas\u0131na bak\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar korteksi, beynin geri kalan\u0131n\u0131 adeta buru\u015fturulmu\u015f bir \u00e7ar\u015faf gibi k\u0131l\u0131flayarak n\u00f6ral bir doku katman\u0131 \u015feklinde haritaland\u0131rd\u0131lar. Korteks, duyum, dikkat, haf\u0131za, alg\u0131, dil ve bilin\u00e7lilik i\u00e7in en \u00f6nemli b\u00f6l\u00fcmd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>Alman n\u00f6roanatomist Korbinian Brodmann, 20.y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ilk on y\u0131l\u0131nda korteksi ilk kez haritaland\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Beyni, daha sonralar\u0131 g\u00f6rme, dil ve duyusal s\u00fcreci y\u00f6netti\u011fi \u00f6\u011frenilen 50 b\u00f6lgeye ay\u0131rabilmi\u015fti. Yeni \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya liderlik eden Dr. Matthew Glasser yakla\u015f\u0131k bir y\u00fczy\u0131l sonra beyinde konu\u015fma-dil b\u00f6lgeleri aras\u0131ndaki ba\u011flant\u0131lar\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131nda mevcut haritan\u0131n yetersizli\u011fini hemen fark etmi\u015fti. Bu 100 y\u0131ll\u0131k haritada, Brodmann\u2019\u0131n belirledi\u011fi alanlar\u0131, yollar\u0131 ve bunlar\u0131n aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkiyi bulmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmak gerekiyordu. Bu nedenle ya\u015famakta olan beyinlerde yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla yeni bir harita \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131 \u015fart olmu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p>Haritay\u0131 yapmak i\u00e7in Glasser, Van Essen ve arkada\u015flar\u0131 her iki cinsten 210 sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 yeti\u015fkinden veri toplad\u0131lar. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmada MRI y\u00f6ntemiyle hem dinlenme an\u0131nda hem de hik\u00e2ye dinlemek gibi basit i\u015flevler s\u0131ras\u0131nda korteksin kal\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve n\u00f6ronal kablolar\u0131n etraf\u0131nda olu\u015fan hareketlenmenin miktar\u0131n\u0131 belirlediler.<\/p>\n<p>Her bir yar\u0131k\u00fcre i\u00e7in 180 alan belirledikten sonra \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 sonland\u0131rd\u0131lar. Asl\u0131nda bunu son say\u0131 olarak belirlememi\u015flerdi. Ancak \u015fu anki teknik imk\u00e2nlarla kesinli\u011fi ispatlanamayacak durumlar olu\u015fmu\u015ftu. \u00d6rne\u011fin, korteksin bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde belirledikleri yaman\u0131n alt\u0131 muhtemelen pek \u00e7ok alt b\u00f6l\u00fcme ayr\u0131lmaktayd\u0131. Kesinli\u011fini garanti edemeyeceklerinden bu b\u00f6lgeleri tan\u0131mlamak istemediler. Pek \u00e7ok b\u00f6lge ise basit i\u015flevlerde canl\u0131l\u0131k g\u00f6stermiyordu, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc muhtemelen bu b\u00f6lgeler sadece di\u011fer ba\u015fka ve farkl\u0131 uyar\u0131larla bir koordinasyon olu\u015fturarak faaliyet g\u00f6steriyordu.<\/p>\n<p>Son bir y\u00fczy\u0131lda Brodmann\u2019\u0131n haritas\u0131yla Glasser ve Van Essen\u2019in olu\u015fturdu\u011fu harita aras\u0131nda \u00e7ok say\u0131da, yakla\u015f\u0131k 50 ile 200 aras\u0131 farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgeyi tan\u0131mlayan harita \u00e7izilmi\u015ftir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada ise bir \u00f6nceki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada elde edilen veriler \u00fczerinden hareketle yeni elde edilen y\u00fcksek kaliteli MRI verileri ge\u00e7i\u015fimli olacak \u015fekilde kullan\u0131larak bir algoritma olu\u015fturulabilmi\u015ftir. Bireysel haritalar ayn\u0131 zamanda n\u00f6rolojik ve psikiyatrik hastal\u0131klar\u0131n tedavisine de rehberlik edebilecektir. \u00d6rne\u011fin farkl\u0131 tip bunamalar beyinde farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerin dejenerasyonuyla karakterizedir.
