Bug\u00fcn bizim anlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z anlamda felsefi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce o d\u00f6nemde hen\u00fcz yoktur. O zamanlar insan kendini mitolojide ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131r, kendiyle ve evrenle ilgili sorunlar\u0131n\u0131 mitolojide tart\u0131\u015fmaya a\u00e7ar. Mitolojide felsefi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin ilk bi\u00e7imini buluruz. Mitolojilerin derinindeki felsefeyi g\u00f6rmek zor de\u011fildir. Mitoloji evrenle ve insanla ilgili sorunlar\u0131 ussal d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin belirleyicili\u011finde de\u011fil sezgisel \u00e7er\u00e7evede tart\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Mitolojilerde felsefe masals\u0131 bir g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcme b\u00fcr\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. O zamanlar ussall\u0131\u011f\u0131n hen\u00fcz \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zamanlard\u0131r. Mitolojideki ve sanattaki felsefe felsefedeki felsefeden de\u011fi\u015fiktir. <strong>Mitos<\/strong> s\u00f6z\u00fc Homeros\u2019a kadar dayanan bir gelene\u011fi anlat\u0131r. <strong>Mitos<\/strong> \u201cs\u00f6z\u201d anlam\u0131ndad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Daha sonra \u201cmasal\u201d anlam\u0131 kazanm\u0131\u015f olan bu s\u00f6zc\u00fck \u00f6z\u00fcnde tanr\u0131larla ve yar\u0131 tanr\u0131larla ve kahramanlarla ilgili anlat\u0131lar\u0131 kapsar. Mitoloji s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bir mitoslar toplulu\u011funu anlat\u0131r. Her uygarl\u0131\u011f\u0131n kendi mitolojisi ya da mitolojileri vard\u0131r. Mitolojiler toplumlar\u0131n imzas\u0131z \u00fcr\u00fcnleridir. Uygarl\u0131klar etkile\u015firken mitolojiler de birbirlerinden etkilenirler: bir mitolojiye ba\u015fka mitolojilerden \u00f6geler kat\u0131l\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin yunan mitolojisi hitit mitolojisinden izler ta\u015f\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn mitoloji bilimsel bir ara\u015ft\u0131rma alan\u0131d\u0131r, anlat\u0131larla ilgili bir t\u00fcr tarih ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131d\u0131r. Mitoloji bug\u00fcn bir bilimdir, onun belli bir konusu ve bir y\u00f6ntemi vard\u0131r. Halkbilimde oldu\u011fu gibi mitolojide de veri toplamak ve bu verileri de\u011ferlendirmek \u00f6nemlidir. Bu de\u011ferlendirme \u00f6zellikle mitoslar\u0131n anlamlar\u0131n\u0131 okumakla ilgilidir. Veri y\u0131\u011fmakla bilim yapamay\u0131z, de\u011ferlendirilmemi\u015f verilerin bir kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 yoktur. Mitolojik ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n bir yan\u0131n\u0131 da dil ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131 olu\u015fturur. Mitoslar\u0131n dilini anlamak, onlar\u0131n anlamlar\u0131na girebilmek \u00f6nemlidir. Bir ba\u015fka sorun nesnellik sorunudur: mitoslar kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda duygusall\u0131ktan kurtulmak, yans\u0131z kalabilmek gerekir. Bilimsel y\u00f6nelim b\u00f6yle bir anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 gerektirir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitolojinin \u00f6nemi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mitoloji denince akl\u0131m\u0131za \u00f6ncelikle yunan mitolojisi ve sanki onun bir \u00f6rne\u011fi olan roma mitolojisi gelir. Roma k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc yunan k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn izd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fc gibidir. Roma mitolojisi de yunan mitolojisinin d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f bir bi\u00e7imidir, onda sanki yaln\u0131zca ki\u015filiklerin adlar\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fmi\u015ftir. Yunanl\u0131lar\u0131n Zeus\u2019u Roma\u2019da J\u00fcpiter olmu\u015ftur. Ancak bu \u00f6rnek olma durumu bir \u015feyin bir yerden bir yere oldu\u011fu gibi ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131 anlam\u0131na gelmez. \u201cK\u00fclt\u00fcrd\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fc\u201d toplumsal ya\u015famda belirleyici bir olgudur. Her k\u00fclt\u00fcr kendi topra\u011f\u0131n\u0131n renklerini ta\u015f\u0131r. Bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr bir yerden bir yere ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131rken kendinden bir \u015feyler yitirir. Bir yerden bir yere ta\u015f\u0131nan k\u00fclt\u00fcr ula\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerin \u00f6zelliklerini edinir. Bir ba\u015fka deyi\u015fle kopya k\u00fclt\u00fcrler yoktur. K\u00fclt\u00fcrde etkilemelerden ve etkilenmelerden \u00e7ok etkile\u015fimler vard\u0131r. De\u011fi\u015fik uygarl\u0131klar\u0131n etkilerini ta\u015f\u0131yan yunan k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc ba\u015fka k\u00fclt\u00fcrleri derinden etkiledi. Yunan mitolojisi felsefeye \u00e7ok yak\u0131n duran bir mitolojidir, bu mitoloji d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel derinli\u011fiyle se\u00e7ilir. Ba\u015fka mitolojilerin \u00f6nemsiz oldu\u011fu anlam\u0131na gelmez bu. \u00d6te yandan mitolojiyi \u00f6zellikle ge\u00e7mi\u015f zamanlar\u0131n en \u00f6nemli k\u00fclt\u00fcr yarat\u0131s\u0131 olarak g\u00f6rebiliriz. \u0130nsan kendiyle ve evrenle ilgili ilk sorular\u0131 bir masal kurgusu i\u00e7inde ilkin mitolojide sormu\u015ftur. Toplumlar belli bir siyasal b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011fe kavu\u015ftuktan ve kent devletlerini i\u00e7ine alan topraklar \u00fczerinde krall\u0131klar kurulduktan sonra, buna g\u00f6re ayr\u0131 ayr\u0131 kentlerin tanr\u0131lar\u0131 bir araya gelip bir tanr\u0131lar ailesi tablosunu olu\u015fturduktan sonra mitolojide felsefi kayg\u0131lar daha belirginle\u015fmi\u015ftir. En \u00f6nemli sorun evrenin ne oldu\u011fu ve ne\u2019den geldi\u011fidir, insan\u0131n evrende yerinin ne oldu\u011fudur. Buna g\u00f6re mitolojiyi felsefenin ilk bi\u00e7imi diye g\u00f6rmek do\u011fru olur. Mitoslar insan ger\u00e7e\u011fini sezgisel d\u00fczeyde yakalamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rken felsefenin yolunu a\u00e7t\u0131lar. Yunan k\u00fclt\u00fcr d\u00fcnyas\u0131 ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 ve \u00e7e\u015fitliliklerle dolu tanr\u0131lar tablosunu olu\u015ftururken alttan alta felsefi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin temellerini atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Mitolojiyi s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat sayabilir miyiz? O t\u00fcm\u00fcyle s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat\u0131n konusu de\u011fildir. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce tarihinde \u00f6nemli bir yer tutar. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat\u0131 mitolojik d\u00f6nemlerle s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcrsek yanl\u0131\u015fa d\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f oluruz: s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat hep varolmu\u015ftur. Eski toplumlar kadar bug\u00fcn\u00fcn toplumlar\u0131 da s\u00f6zl\u00fc anlat\u0131lar\u0131 dilden dile ta\u015f\u0131rlar, bir yerden bir yere bir zamandan bir zamana g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fcrler. Halkbilimciler ve budunbilimciler s\u00f6zl\u00fc gelenekle ilgilenirken toplumbilimciler de onda kendi alanlar\u0131yla ilgili ya da toplumsal yap\u0131lanmalarla ilgili veriler ararlar. D\u00fcn\u00fcn mitolojileri bug\u00fcn\u00fcn mitolojilerinden az\u00e7ok de\u011fi\u015fiktir. Mitolojinin ilk d\u00f6nemindeki anlat\u0131lar \u00f6zellikle evrenin olu\u015fumuyla ve insan\u0131n evrendeki yeriyle ilgiliydi, sonraki anlat\u0131lar t\u00fcm insan sorunlar\u0131n\u0131 kapsayan bir geni\u015flik kazand\u0131. Toplumlar geli\u015ftik\u00e7e sorunlar \u00e7e\u015fitlendi. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyatla yaz\u0131l\u0131 edebiyat her yerde i\u00e7i\u00e7edir. S\u00f6zl\u00fc anlat\u0131lar\u0131n bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc daha sonra yaz\u0131ya d\u00f6k\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Mitolojiyi yaratan kaynak toplumlar\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel ve duygusal d\u00fcnyas\u0131d\u0131r. Ne var ki eski olsun yeni olsun, bu t\u00fcr anlat\u0131lar\u0131n kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131 yerde ve zamanda saptamak kolay de\u011fildir. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat kim olduklar\u0131 iyi bilinmeyenlerin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcd\u00fcr ya da daha do\u011frusu bir toplumun ya da bir toplulu\u011fun ortak \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcd\u00fcr. Yer saptamalar\u0131nda biraz daha belirleyici olabiliyoruz ama zamanda saptamalar yaparken zorlan\u0131yoruz. De\u011ferlerin birbirine kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu alanda kaynak belirlemek hemen hemen olanaks\u0131zd\u0131r. Her ki\u015fi bir anlat\u0131y\u0131 kendi d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131n gereklerine g\u00f6re bazen \u00f6ze dokunmadan bazen \u00f6ze dokunarak yeni \u00f6zelliklerle bezer. Bu anlat\u0131larda de\u011fi\u015fmeden kalanlar daha \u00e7ok inan\u00e7 \u00f6geleridir. En eski \u00fcr\u00fcnler genelde dinsellikle ilgilidir: kutsal\u0131 \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131karan s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat \u00f6b\u00fcrlerinin \u00f6n\u00fcne ge\u00e7mi\u015ftir. Dinsel olan zamanla geriye \u00e7ekilmi\u015f, dind\u0131\u015f\u0131 olan \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyatta dinsel \u00f6geler bug\u00fcn de vard\u0131r. Ancak s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat yerini b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde yaz\u0131l\u0131 edebiyata b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn\u00fcn anlat\u0131lar\u0131 \u00e7ok eski dinsel ve dind\u0131\u015f\u0131 mitoslar\u0131n uzant\u0131lar\u0131 gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrler. Buna gelene\u011fin uzayan etkisi ya da alttan alta varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmesi diyebiliriz. Bug\u00fcn\u00fcn s\u00f6zl\u00fc ve yaz\u0131l\u0131 edebiyatlar\u0131nda bize eskiyi duyuran \u00e7ok \u015fey vard\u0131r. S\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyat yaz\u0131dan sonra da varoldu, ama o daha \u00e7ok yaz\u0131n\u0131n yayg\u0131n olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zamanlar\u0131n \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcd\u00fcr. Bir\u00e7ok s\u00f6zl\u00fc \u00fcr\u00fcn zamanla yaz\u0131ya ge\u00e7irildi. Bu \u00fcr\u00fcnler b\u00f6ylece daha b\u00fcy\u00fck bir yayg\u0131nl\u0131k kazand\u0131lar ve yerel \u00f6zelliklerini korurken neredeyse insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n ortak mal\u0131 oldular. \u00d6rne\u011fin Homeros\u2019un metinleri yaz\u0131ya ge\u00e7irildikten sonra d\u00fcnyada yay\u0131ld\u0131k\u00e7a yay\u0131ld\u0131. Kaynaklar her zaman bulan\u0131kt\u0131r: o metinler belki de Homeros\u2019un de\u011fil ya da yaln\u0131z Homeros\u2019un de\u011fil ba\u015fka ba\u015fka \u015fairlerin \u00fcr\u00fcnleriydi. B\u00f6ylece pek de uyu\u015fmayan bir\u00e7ok metin bir ki\u015finin ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda bir araya getirildi. Mitolojik anlat\u0131lar bir zaman sonra kahramanl\u0131k \u015fark\u0131lar\u0131nda de\u011fi\u015fik bi\u00e7imlere b\u00fcr\u00fcnd\u00fc. Yaln\u0131z s\u00f6zle ta\u015f\u0131nan anlat\u0131lar\u0131n de\u011fil d\u00fcnden bug\u00fcne kalm\u0131\u015f bir\u00e7ok metnin de \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc tart\u0131\u015fmal\u0131d\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin Aristoteles\u2019in <em>Nikomakhos ahlak\u0131 <\/em>bize yer yer tek ki\u015finin kaleminden \u00e7\u0131kmam\u0131\u015f izlenimi verir. <em>Eudemos ahlak\u0131 <\/em>Aristoteles\u2019in \u00f6\u011frencilerinden birinin olabilir.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130lk bak\u0131\u015fta g\u00f6remesek de bug\u00fcn\u00fcn edebiyat\u0131 eski duyarl\u0131klar\u0131n izlerini ta\u015f\u0131yor. \u0130lk s\u00f6zl\u00fc edebiyatlardan modern edebiyata uzanan uzun yolda yarat\u0131c\u0131 zek\u00e2lar en eski duyarl\u0131klardan epeyce pay ald\u0131lar. Bu durum tarihin basit bir olaylar zinciri olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koyar. Benzerliklerden gidilerek ba\u011flant\u0131lar kurulabiliyor. Ancak benzetmelerin geli\u015fig\u00fczel olmamas\u0131 gerekir. \u00d6rne\u011fin Longos\u2019un kaleminden \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 san\u0131lan ve modern anlay\u0131\u015fta yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ilk roman diye bilinen <em>Daphnis kai Khloe<\/em> (Daphnis ile Khloe) mitolojik anlat\u0131larda ortaya konulmu\u015f bir\u00e7ok \u00f6zelli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131r gibidir. MS 3. y\u00fczy\u0131ldan kalan bu a\u00e7\u0131ksa\u00e7\u0131k romanla \u00f6rne\u011fin 19. y\u00fczy\u0131lda do\u011falc\u0131 bir anlay\u0131\u015fla yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan <em>Madame Bovary<\/em> aras\u0131nda bir yak\u0131nl\u0131k bulabiliriz, Bu bize bir etkilenmeyi duyurmasa bile ortak sezgilerimizin oldu\u011funu g\u00f6sterir. Flaubert Longos diye birinin ad\u0131n\u0131 duymam\u0131\u015f olsa bile onunla ortak bir duyarl\u0131\u011f\u0131 payla\u015f\u0131yor gibidir. Mitoloji bundan b\u00f6yle temel sorunlar\u0131 felsefeye b\u0131rak\u0131p salt edebiyata m\u0131 d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc? Mitolojiler d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 her zaman korudular. Mitolojik \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc unutulmu\u015f olsa da bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc zamana direnir. M\u0131s\u0131r ve mezopotamya mitoslar\u0131 belleklerden silinip gidecek gibi de\u011fildir. Onlardaki felsefe bug\u00fcn de ilgimizi \u00e7ekiyor. \u0130nsan\u0131 k\u00f6kten ve do\u011fru olarak a\u00e7\u0131klayan her \u00fcr\u00fcn zamand\u0131\u015f\u0131d\u0131r. Mitoloji d\u00f6neminden sonra biz her \u015feyi bilir duruma gelmedik ki. 16. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n sonlar\u0131nda ve 17. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131nda Kepler gezegenleri meleklerin itti\u011fini s\u00f6yl\u00fcyordu.
