Raflarda durma s\u00fcresi artt\u0131, \u00fcst\u00fcne yenileri de eklendi. \u00dcstelik kitaplar\u0131 utand\u0131rmayacak \u015fekilde, \u00e7ok say\u0131da makale de \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor beyin-ba\u011f\u0131rsak ili\u015fkisini temel alan. Ba\u011f\u0131rsak ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 yeni olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen \u201cikinci beyin\u201d adland\u0131rmas\u0131yla yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 giri\u015f fazlas\u0131yla dikkat \u00e7ekti. Peki ya neden? Bu soruya cevap vermek i\u00e7in erken olabilir. Belki de psikanalizin yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczy\u0131l \u00f6nce \u00f6ng\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc beyin ve ba\u011f\u0131rsak ili\u015fkisi, \u015fimdi farkl\u0131 bir isimle ve farkl\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlerle devam ediyor yoluna. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla, bu zeminde at\u0131lan ad\u0131mlar\u0131 n\u00f6ropsikanalitik bir s\u00fcre\u00e7 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131rsak b\u00fcy\u00fck bir hata etmi\u015f olmay\u0131z. Ger\u00e7i psikanalizin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015fam\u0131m\u0131zda dahi sezgi d\u00fczeyinde \u00e7o\u011fumuz fark etmi\u015fizdir ba\u011f\u0131rsak ve stres aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkiyi. G\u00fcnl\u00fck hayatta sezgi d\u00fczeyinde bilinen bu ili\u015fki ve dahas\u0131, size s\u00f6z edece\u011fim kitab\u0131n i\u00e7inde pek \u00e7ok ba\u015fl\u0131kta incelenmi\u015f. Bu sade ve kapsaml\u0131 incelemeyi Dr. Emeran Mayer\u2019in 40 y\u0131ld\u0131r beyin-ba\u011f\u0131rsak ili\u015fkisi \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yor olmas\u0131na bor\u00e7luyuz (Stres ve Diren\u00e7 Merkezi\u2019nde \u2013 UCLA). Bu sayede kitapta hem klinik deneyim hem de teorik bilgiye ula\u015fmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn. Yazar E. Mayer ara\u015ft\u0131rma bulgular\u0131n\u0131 kendi hik\u00e2yeleriyle yumu\u015fatm\u0131\u015f ve sade bir dil ile birle\u015ftirmi\u015f. Bahsetti\u011fim sadelik, n\u00f6robilim alan\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan birinin karn\u0131n\u0131 doyurmazken, farkl\u0131 alanlarda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan pek \u00e7ok insan i\u00e7in k\u0131\u015fk\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131 bir ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 olabilir, i\u015ftah a\u00e7abilir.<\/p>\n<p>Ba\u011f\u0131rsa\u011f\u0131 duygular\u0131n seyircisiz sahnesi gibi sulu ya da e\u011flenceli bir metaforla anlat\u0131rken, dikkati de g\u00f6sterinin yani hissedilen duygular\u0131n <strong>kapal\u0131 bir alanda seyircisiz <\/strong>ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131na \u00e7ekmek istiyorum. Bu vurgu, kitab\u0131n y\u00fcz ifadeleri ve ba\u011f\u0131rsak aras\u0131nda kurdu\u011fu ba\u011flant\u0131y\u0131 temel al\u0131yor. \u00d6rne\u011fin trafikte sinirleriniz tepenize \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ya da metrob\u00fcse binmeye kalk\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131zda, beyniniz t\u0131pk\u0131 y\u00fcz kaslar\u0131n\u0131za g\u00f6nderdi\u011fi gibi sindirim sisteminize de karakteristik sinyal \u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri g\u00f6nderir ve h\u0131zl\u0131 bir cevap al\u0131r. Yani beynimizde etkisi ve kayna\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclen bir duygunun ba\u011f\u0131rsaklar\u0131m\u0131za bir ayna tuttu\u011funu art\u0131k biliyoruz. Belki de ilgin\u00e7 olan, y\u00fcz\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n aksine, ba\u011f\u0131rsak sinyallerini g\u00f6rmenin \u201c\u00f6teki\u201dnin, yani bir ba\u015fkas\u0131n\u0131n yapabilece\u011fi bir i\u015f olmamas\u0131. Y\u00fcz bilgiyi sahibine sormadan bile a\u00e7\u0131k edebilirken, ba\u011f\u0131rsa\u011f\u0131n ifadesi o bedene sahip ki\u015fi taraf\u0131ndan anla\u015f\u0131labilir. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla paragraf\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda ifade etti\u011fim \u201cseyircisiz\u201d ifadesini \u00f6nemli buluyorum. Giorgio Agamben \u201cY\u00fcz\u201d<sup>(1) <\/sup>yaz\u0131s\u0131nda y\u00fcz\u00fc ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n tek yeri, d\u0131\u015far\u0131ya a\u00e7\u0131lan bir alan olarak tan\u0131ml\u0131yor. Agamben taraf\u0131ndan ayn\u0131 zamanda politik temada okunan y\u00fcz, trajikomikli\u011fin de kayna\u011f\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131yor. Yani ona g\u00f6re y\u00fcz, saklanmak istenen, ama saklanamayan bir ifadeyi de i\u00e7erebilir. Neredeyse ihanet eder y\u00fcz sahibine, apa\u00e7\u0131k eder onu. Ama \u201cba\u011f\u0131rsak (!)\u201d ancak onu inceleyenler taraf\u0131ndan g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n<p>Kitapta hat\u0131r\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131r bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm ayr\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ordu cerrah\u0131 Beamont\u2019a. Beamont, tarihte insan sindirimini ger\u00e7ek zamanl\u0131 g\u00f6zlemleyen ilk ki\u015fi olarak biliniyor. Beamont s\u0131\u011f\u0131r eti, \u00e7i\u011f lahana, bayat ekmek ve di\u011fer g\u0131dalar\u0131 bir ipli\u011fe ba\u011flayarak St. Martin\u2019le bir deney yap\u0131yor. Deneyde yiyecekler bir ipe diziliyor ve ard\u0131ndan St. Martin\u2019in midesine sokup belirli zamanlarda \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131larak mide suyunun g\u0131dalar\u0131 nas\u0131l sindirdi\u011fi g\u00f6zleniyor. Literat\u00fcrde zorlu olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan bu deney s\u00fcrecinde ise St. Martin\u2019in morali zaman zaman bozuluyor. K\u0131sacas\u0131; duygular\u0131 \u00e7e\u015fitli dalgalanmalarla seyrediyor. Beamont deney esnas\u0131nda St. Martin\u2019in mide aktivitesinde olu\u015fan \u00e7e\u015fitli de\u011fi\u015fimleri g\u00f6zl\u00fcyor. G\u00f6zlemlerde St. Martin\u2019in \u00f6fkesinin sindirimi yava\u015flatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 sonucuna var\u0131l\u0131rken bu sonu\u00e7larla birlikte Beamont insan sindiriminin duygularla ba\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015f oluyor. Sonras\u0131nda, deneyin bulgular\u0131 pek \u00e7ok ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131 i\u00e7in de \u00f6rnek te\u015fkil ediyor ve ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar beyin-ba\u011f\u0131rsak \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya devam ediyor. \u0130kinci D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 ve sonras\u0131nda askerlerle yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalardan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde kadar beyin-ba\u011f\u0131rsak aras\u0131 ili\u015fki gitgide kuvvetlenerek ilerliyor.
