Ticari kullan\u0131ma ge\u00e7meden \u00f6nce \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclmesi gereken bir\u00e7ok sorunun varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131n, bu kazan\u0131m do\u011fala daha yak\u0131n yapay zek\u00e2 \u00f6\u011frenim yaz\u0131l\u0131mlar\u0131na kap\u0131 a\u00e7abilir.<\/p>\n<p>Yapay zek\u00e2 yaz\u0131l\u0131mlar\u0131 insan beynini taklit etme ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131na h\u0131zla ula\u015fmaya ba\u015fl\u0131yor. Google\u2019un otomatik resim s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rma ve dil \u00f6\u011frenim programlar\u0131 gibi algoritmalar, karma\u015f\u0131k g\u00f6revleri tamamlayabilmek i\u00e7in yapay sinir h\u00fccrelerinden olu\u015fan bir i\u015fletim a\u011f\u0131 kullan\u0131yor. Fakat klasik bilgisayarlar\u0131n donan\u0131m\u0131, beyin benzeri algoritmalar\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmaya uygun tasarlanmad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, bu g\u00f6revleri tamamlamak insan beyninin ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fundan daha fazla i\u015fletim g\u00fcc\u00fc gerektiriyor.<\/p>\n<p>ABD\u2019deki Kolorado Eyaleti\u2019nin Boulder \u015fehrinde bulunan NIST (National Institute of Standardsand Technology) b\u00fcnyesindeki bir grup biliminsan\u0131, beyin benzeri yaz\u0131l\u0131mlar\u0131 daha verimli \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131raca\u011f\u0131 umuduyla, insan beynini taklit eden \u201cn\u00f6romorfik\u201d donan\u0131m geli\u015ftirme \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Geleneksel elektronik sistemlerdeki transist\u00f6rler bilgiyi d\u00fczenli aral\u0131klarla ve neredeyse hatas\u0131z \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde (0 veya 1 bit) i\u015fleyebiliyorken, n\u00f6romorfik cihazlar farkl\u0131 kaynaklardan gelen k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7ekteki bilgileri toplay\u0131p, t\u0131pk\u0131 biyolojik n\u00f6ronlar\u0131n yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi, bu bilgileri farkl\u0131 tipteki bir sinyali \u00fcretebilmek ve yaln\u0131zca gerekti\u011fi zamanlarda ani bir elektrik ak\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 ate\u015fleyebilmek i\u00e7in de\u011fi\u015ftirebiliyor ve bu sayede n\u00f6romorfik cihazlar \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmak i\u00e7in daha az enerjiye ihtiya\u00e7 duyuyor. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131ndaki fizik\u00e7i Michael Schneider \u015funu s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor: \u201cBunu yapman\u0131n daha kolay bir yolu olmal\u0131, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc do\u011fa bunu yapman\u0131n daha kolay bir yolunu bulmu\u015f.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Bo\u015flu\u011fa dikkat!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maalesef bu cihazlar h\u00e2l\u00e2 verimsiz, \u00f6zellikle de bilgiyi transist\u00f6rler aras\u0131ndaki bo\u015fluklardan (di\u011fer ad\u0131yla sinapslardan) iletirken. Bu y\u00fczden Schneider\u2019in tak\u0131m\u0131, niyobyum s\u00fcperiletkenlerinin haricinde elektri\u011fi diren\u00e7le kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmadan ileten n\u00f6ron benzeri elektrotlar geli\u015ftirdiler ve s\u00fcperiletkenler aras\u0131ndaki bo\u015fluklar\u0131 binlerce say\u0131da manyetik magnezyum nanotanecikleriyle doldurdular.<\/p>\n<p>Nanotanecikler, sinaps\u0131n i\u00e7indeki manyetik alan miktar\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirilerek farkl\u0131 y\u00f6nleri g\u00f6sterecek \u015fekilde hizalanabiliyor. Bu y\u00f6ntem sistemin bilgiyi elektrik seviyesinde ve manyetik alan y\u00f6n\u00fcnde kodlamas\u0131na imk\u00e2n sa\u011fl\u0131yor; bunun yan\u0131nda ek alan i\u015fgal etmeden di\u011fer n\u00f6romorfik sistemlerden \u00e7ok daha fazla i\u015fletim g\u00fcc\u00fc bah\u015fediyor.<\/p>\n<p>Sinapslar, insan n\u00f6ronlar\u0131ndan defalarca kat daha h\u0131zl\u0131 olarak saniyede bir milyar kez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabiliyor ve biyolojik sinapslar\u0131n on binde biri kadar enerji kullan\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Bilgisayar sim\u00fclasyonlar\u0131nda sentetik n\u00f6ronlar, di\u011fer elektrota g\u00f6ndermeden \u00f6nce dokuza kadar farkl\u0131 kaynaktan girdi toplayabiliyor. Fakat Schneider\u2019e g\u00f6re, karma\u015f\u0131k i\u015flemlerde kullan\u0131labilecek teknoloji tabanl\u0131 bir sistemden \u00f6nce milyonlarca say\u0131da sinaps gerekebilir; bu seviyeye ula\u015f\u0131labilip ula\u015f\u0131lamayaca\u011f\u0131 ancak zamanla ortaya \u00e7\u0131kacak.<\/p>\n<p>Bir ba\u015fka konu ise, sinapslar\u0131n mutlak s\u0131f\u0131ra yak\u0131n bir s\u0131cakl\u0131kta (-273 \u00b0C) i\u015flev g\u00f6rmesi ve s\u0131v\u0131 helyum ile so\u011futulmalar\u0131n\u0131n gerekmesi.
