Kimi insanlar bu sorunlar\u0131 kendi i\u00e7inde a\u015fabilirken, kimisinde anksiyete ve depresyonla sonu\u00e7lanabiliyor. Bir insan hayat\u0131nda olan sorunlar\u0131 nas\u0131l kar\u015f\u0131layaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 nas\u0131l bilebilir?<br \/>\nDuke \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde yap\u0131lan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara g\u00f6re, bu sorunun cevab\u0131 beyindeki amigdala adl\u0131, badem \u015feklindeki yap\u0131da sakl\u0131. Tehlikeyi tespit eden ve ona yan\u0131t veren kritik \u00f6nemdeki bu b\u00f6lgenin aktivitesi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclerek, stresli olaylarla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, kimde tepki olarak depresyon ya da anksiyete geli\u015febilece\u011fi, gelecek d\u00f6rt y\u0131l\u0131 kapsayan bir s\u00fcre i\u00e7in s\u00f6ylenebilecek.<br \/>\nNeuron dergisinde 4 \u015eubat 2015\u2019te yay\u0131mlanan makaleye g\u00f6re, bu incelemeler do\u011frultusunda depresyon ve anksiyete tedavisinde yeni stratejiler geli\u015ftirilebilecek ve hatta bu rahats\u0131zl\u0131klar ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmadan engellenebilecek.<br \/>\nDuke \u00dcniversitesi\u2019ndeki ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n belirtti\u011fi \u00fczere; insanlar genellikle depresyonlar\u0131 ya da anksiyeteleri kronikle\u015fip, g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015famlar\u0131n\u0131 zorla\u015ft\u0131racak hale geldi\u011finde bir klini\u011fe gidiyor; ancak bu beyin imleciyle insanlara \u00f6nceden tedaviye ba\u015fvurmalar\u0131 konusunda yard\u0131mc\u0131 olunabilecek, b\u00f6ylece rahats\u0131zl\u0131klar ki\u015filerin hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 tehdit edicek seviyeye gelmeden kontrol alt\u0131na al\u0131nabilecek.<br \/>\nTravma sonras\u0131 stres rahats\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131 riski ta\u015f\u0131yan bireyler, \u00f6rne\u011fin harp alan\u0131nda g\u00f6revlendirilmi\u015f bir asker \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lan k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, beyin aktivitesi ve stresli olaylarla ba\u015f etme aras\u0131ndaki farklar\u0131 inceleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na ipucu oldu. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda amigdala \u00fczerine yo\u011funla\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve olduk\u00e7a travmatik olaylar\u0131 atlatabilmi\u015f bireyler \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f. Ancak toplumda insanlar genellikle bu ara\u015ft\u0131rmadakilere k\u0131yasla daha az stresli olaylarla m\u00fccalede ediyor; i\u015fsizlik, bo\u015fanma, ailede \u00f6l\u00fcm gibi.<br \/>\nYap\u0131lan yeni \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 \u00fcniversite \u00f6\u011frencilerinin k\u0131zg\u0131n ve korkulu bak\u0131\u015f anlar\u0131ndaki beyin g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri tarand\u0131. \u00c7evreye tehlike sinyali veren bu ifadelerin g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri normalde amigdala aktivitesini artt\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar da bu aktivitenin yo\u011funlu\u011funu \u00f6l\u00e7mek i\u00e7in fonksiyonel manyetik rezonans g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleme cihaz\u0131 kulland\u0131lar, bu sayede dolayl\u0131 yoldan beyin aktivitesi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f oldu.<br \/>\nHer \u00fc\u00e7 ayda bir taramas\u0131 yap\u0131lan kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar, sonras\u0131nda internet \u00fczerinden stresli olaylar ve etkileriyle ilgili, buna ek olarak da depresyon ve anksiyete belirtileriyle ilgili anketler tamamlad\u0131lar.<br \/>\nAnketleri tamamlayan 753 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131dan taramalardan sonra 2 ile 4 y\u0131l\u0131 kapsayan sonu\u00e7lar elde edildi. Bu bireylerde, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen amigdala reaktifli\u011fin fazla olu\u015funa ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak, stresli durumlara kar\u015f\u0131 anksiyete ve depresyon semptomlar\u0131 g\u00f6sterme durumlar\u0131n\u0131n tarama sonras\u0131 incelendi\u011finde kuvvetli oldu\u011fu g\u00f6zlemlendi. Taramalar\u0131nda fazla miktarda amigdala aktifli\u011fi g\u00f6zlemlendi\u011fi halde, hayatlar\u0131nda yak\u0131n zamanda stres ya\u015famam\u0131\u015f olan bireylerin semptomlar\u0131ndaysa bu art\u0131\u015flar g\u00f6zlenmemi\u015f.<br \/>\nDuke Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc Beyin Bilimleri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00dcyesi, Sinirbilim ve Psikoloji Profes\u00f6r\u00fc Hariri; beynin tek bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm\u00fcyle bir bireyin strese kar\u015f\u0131 d\u00f6rt y\u0131la kadar olan bir s\u00fcre kapsam\u0131ndaki psikolojik hassasl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6sterilebilece\u011fini bulman\u0131n ne kadar \u00f6nemli oldu\u011funu belirtti.<br \/>\nBu yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rma Duke \u00dcniversitesi sinir-geneti\u011fi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n bir par\u00e7as\u0131.
