Ek olarak, veri merkezlerinde elektrik kesintisine kar\u015f\u0131 Kesintisiz G\u00fc\u00e7 Kaynaklar\u0131 (KGK) kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Y\u00fczde 6 deyip ge\u00e7meyin, veri merkezlerinin en b\u00fcy\u00fck gider kayna\u011f\u0131 elektriktir ve y\u00fczde 6 verimlilik bir o kadar tasarruf yapabilme anlam\u0131na gelir.<\/p>\n<p>Yukar\u0131daki kay\u0131plar d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda AC\u2019nin ba\u015fka dezavantajlar\u0131 da vard\u0131r:<\/p>\n<p>DC devreler basit devrelerdir; yaln\u0131zca \u00fcrete\u00e7 ve diren\u00e7ten olu\u015ftuklar\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir. AC devreler ise karma\u015f\u0131kt\u0131r; direncin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, kapasit\u00f6r ve ind\u00fckt\u00f6r gibi devre \u00f6\u011felerini de i\u00e7erir. Kapasit\u00f6r ve ind\u00fckt\u00f6rler, kablodan ge\u00e7en ak\u0131m\u0131 karma\u015f\u0131kla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131r. Bu karma\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131n sonucunda, evimize ya da i\u015f yerimize gelen elektrik ak\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131 geri \u201cka\u00e7ar\u201d. Bu geri ka\u00e7an elektri\u011fe reaktif elektrik denir. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de elektrik \u00fcretim santrallar\u0131, elektri\u011fin yo\u011fun olarak t\u00fcketildi\u011fi yerlere uzakt\u0131r; arada genelde binlerce kilometre vard\u0131r. Var olan hatlar\u0131n yenilenmesi planlan\u0131rken DC iletim hesaba kat\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r. Yeni kurulacak santrallar da benzer olacakt\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin, kurulmas\u0131 planlanan n\u00fckleer santrallar\u0131n birisi Sinop\u2019ta, di\u011feri de Mersin\u2019dedir.
