G\u00f6zlemlerini teorik sonu\u00e7larla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmaya karar verdi ve yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 hesaplamalar sonucunda i\u00e7inde bulundu\u011fu y\u00fczy\u0131l ile bir sonrakinde bile h\u00e2l\u00e2 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclememi\u015f olan bir gizemi ortaya \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015f oldu. Oort\u2019un g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fi y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n hi\u00e7biri, derin uzay ve fizi\u011fin di\u011fer alanlar\u0131nda yer\u00e7ekimini a\u00e7\u0131klamak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan denklemlere uymuyordu; \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n sahip oldu\u011fu h\u0131zlar, fizik denklemlerinin olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini s\u00f6yledi\u011finden \u00e7ok daha fazlayd\u0131. Jan Oort Pandora\u2019n\u0131n Kutusu\u2019nu a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131 art\u0131k. 1939\u2019dabir ba\u015fka astrofizik\u00e7i Horace Babcock doktora tezinde, Oort\u2019un g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fi bu fenomene bir g\u00f6kada olan Andromeda\u2019da da rastlad\u0131. Andromeda, yer\u00e7ekimi ve kozmoloji denklemleri yard\u0131m\u0131yla hesaplanan h\u0131z denklemine uymay\u0131p, \u00e7ok daha h\u0131zl\u0131 d\u00f6n\u00fcyordu kendi \u00e7evresinde. Bu duruma iki a\u00e7\u0131klama getirilebilirdi: Ya Newton\u2019dan Einstein\u2019e yer\u00e7ekimi kavram\u0131 hakk\u0131nda bildi\u011fimiz \u015feyler eksikti, ya da orada g\u00f6kadan\u0131n h\u0131zlanmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayan bir \u201c\u015fey\u201d vard\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Kimi astrofizik\u00e7iler, orada elimizdeki g\u00f6zlem ara\u00e7lar\u0131yla alg\u0131layamayaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z b\u00fcy\u00fck gezegenler olabilece\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc. Art\u0131k yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z hemen her g\u00f6zlemde karanl\u0131k maddeye rastl\u0131yoruz. Y\u0131ld\u0131zlar, galaksiler, galaksi k\u00fcmeleri&#8230; Bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z cisimlerin bir k\u0131sm\u0131 yer\u00e7ekimi kavram\u0131m\u0131z ile a\u00e7\u0131klanam\u0131yor ve e\u011fer buna sebep olan bir madde ise, bu karanl\u0131k madde yaln\u0131zca k\u00fctle\u00e7ekimiyle etkile\u015fime giriyor, bunun haricinde ba\u015fka hi\u00e7bir g\u00fc\u00e7 ya da enerjiye etki etmiyor.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz ay Perseus Galaksisi\u2019nden gelen bir X-\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 sinyali, karanl\u0131k madde hakk\u0131ndaki s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncemizi de\u011fi\u015ftirecek gibi&#8230; Newton Uzay Teleskobu\u2019ndan elde edilen ve Perseus ile Andromeda galaksilerinden al\u0131nan verileri inceleyen Lozan Politeknik Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc ve Leiden \u00dcniversitesi fizik\u00e7ileri, ola\u011fan kabul edecek t\u00fcm sinyalleri att\u0131klar\u0131nda orada olmamas\u0131 gereken bir sinyal tespit ettiler. Buna benzer bir ba\u015fka sinyali Chandra uzay arac\u0131 da A\u011fustos ay\u0131nda yakalam\u0131\u015f, bu konudaki haberi ise NASA fizik\u00e7isi Esra B\u00fclb\u00fcl vermi\u015fti.<sup>(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Nedir bu X-\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Evrende bizim g\u00f6rebildi\u011fimiz dalga boyu d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda ba\u015fka dalga boylar\u0131 oldu\u011funu biliyoruz. Bu dalga boylar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6zlerimizle g\u00f6remesek de g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat\u0131m\u0131zda hep yan\u0131m\u0131zdalar. Mikrodalga f\u0131r\u0131ndan ak\u0131ll\u0131 telefonlar\u0131n\u0131za kadar \u00e7evrenizdeki do\u011fan\u0131n her yerinde farkl\u0131 dalga boylar\u0131nda radyo dalgalar\u0131, k\u0131z\u0131l\u00f6tesi ve mor \u00f6tesi \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar bulunmakta. Frekans\u0131, dolay\u0131s\u0131yla enerjisi y\u00fcksek olan dalgalar bizlere zararl\u0131 olabilir. X-\u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131 da olduk\u00e7a y\u00fcksek frekansl\u0131, mor\u00f6tesi \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131n bir \u00fcst basama\u011f\u0131nda kalan \u0131\u015f\u0131nlard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Normalde evrende bir\u00e7ok g\u00f6kcismi X-\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 yayar ve bizler de bu yay\u0131l\u0131mdan yola \u00e7\u0131karak yeni bulgular \u00fcretiriz, yeni g\u00f6kcisimlerini tespit edebiliriz. Spektrum ad\u0131 verilen bir y\u00f6ntem ile \u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p bize ula\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 engelleyen elementleri tespit edip g\u00f6kcisminin i\u00e7erdi\u011fi elementler hakk\u0131nda da bilgi sahibi olabiliriz. Bunu bir gaz bulutu i\u00e7inden fener ile \u0131\u015f\u0131k ge\u00e7irerek yaratabilirsiniz. E\u011fer bir de prizman\u0131z varsa, yarat\u0131lan g\u00f6kku\u015fa\u011f\u0131n\u0131n baz\u0131 par\u00e7alar\u0131 eksik olacak, bulutun i\u00e7indeki elementler taraf\u0131ndan so\u011frulacakt\u0131r. Newton Teleskobu\u2019ndan elde edilen veriler ise bir g\u00f6kcisminden gelmeyecek kadar zay\u0131f, ancak so\u011furulmayacak kadar fazla.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBurada ke\u015ffetti\u011fimiz sinyal karanl\u0131k maddenin ayak izi olabilir\u201d diyen Lozan Politeknik Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc fizik\u00e7isi Oleg Ruchayskiy, sinyalin geldi\u011fi b\u00f6lgenin karanl\u0131k maddenin \u00e7ok y\u00fcksek miktarda oldu\u011fu bir yer oldu\u011funa dikkat \u00e7ekiyor. Andromeda\u2019dan gelen foton ve X-\u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n kayna\u011f\u0131 olacak bir atom ya da g\u00f6kcismi bulunmamakta; \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar adeta \u201cyoktan\u201d \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p geliyormu\u015f gibi.<\/p>\n<p>Leiden \u00dcniversitesi fizik\u00e7isi Alexey Boyarsky, yapt\u0131klar\u0131 g\u00f6zleme denk ba\u015fka durumlar\u0131n olup olamayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 denemek i\u00e7in galaksimiz Samanyolu\u2019na da bakt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor. Yaz\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda s\u00f6z etti\u011fimiz Oort\u2019un y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n civar\u0131nda g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fi gibi, Samanyolu\u2019nun i\u00e7inde de belirli konumlarda karanl\u0131k madde yo\u011funluklar\u0131 bulunmakta. Yap\u0131lan g\u00f6zlemler, benzer sinyallerin Samanyolu\u2019nda karanl\u0131k maddenin yo\u011fun oldu\u011fu b\u00f6lgelerde de bulundu\u011fu sonucunu verdi.<\/p>\n<p>E\u011fer karanl\u0131k maddenin bir ayak izini yakalam\u0131\u015fsak, bu, fizikte yeni bir \u00e7\u0131\u011f\u0131r a\u00e7acakt\u0131r. Evrenin y\u00fczde 4 kadar\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6zlemledi\u011finiz madde, y\u00fczde 24 kadar\u0131n\u0131n karanl\u0131k madde ve y\u00fczde 72\u2019sinin ise bir ba\u015fka gizemli fenomen olan karanl\u0131k enerji oldu\u011funu tahmin ediyoruz.
