Bir canl\u0131 h\u00fccresi, \u00e7ok say\u0131da k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck organelin uyum i\u00e7inde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131yla ya\u015far. Bu par\u00e7alar\u0131n biri bile olmasa, h\u00fccre ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcremez. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla yery\u00fcz\u00fcnde olu\u015fan ilk h\u00fccrenin, ya\u015fam i\u00e7in gerekli t\u00fcm organel ve fonksiyonlara sahip, eksiksiz bir h\u00fccre olmas\u0131 gerekmektedir. Her biri bulunduklar\u0131 ortama sa\u011flad\u0131klar\u0131 uyuma g\u00f6re farkl\u0131 g\u00f6revler yerine getirir ve farkl\u0131 organizmalar\u0131n yap\u0131s\u0131na kat\u0131l\u0131rlar ya da tek olarak ya\u015famaya devam ederler. Bakteri h\u00fccresi, hayvan h\u00fccresi, bitki h\u00fccresi, vb.leri farkl\u0131 metabolik aktivitelere ve bunun gerektirdi\u011fi yap\u0131lanmalara sahiptir. Bunun sonucu olarak da yap\u0131sal olarak farkl\u0131 kompleksliklere sahip olurlar. Bu da bize h\u00fccrelerin kompleksliklerinde kademeler oldu\u011funu ve baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n di\u011ferlerine g\u00f6re \u00e7ok daha basit kabul edilebilece\u011fini g\u00f6stermektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Evrim teorisi g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi kan\u0131tlarla, uzun zamand\u0131r bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131 me\u015fgul eden \u201cD\u00fcnya \u00fczerinde hayat nas\u0131l ba\u015flad\u0131?\u201d sorusuna en mant\u0131kl\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamay\u0131 vermeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Fosil kaynaklar\u0131, radyometrik tarihleme, filogenetik ve modern organizmalar\u0131n yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 yoluyla, hayat\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131r. Canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n nerede, ne zaman ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve karma\u015f\u0131k h\u00fccre yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n nas\u0131l olu\u015ftu\u011fu de\u011fi\u015fik hipotezlerle kronolojik olarak ortaya konulmakta ve elde edilen verilerle bu hipotezlerin do\u011frulu\u011fu s\u0131nanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcney Afrika ve Avustralya\u2019daki stromatolit ad\u0131 verilen ve mikroorganizmalar\u0131n birikmesi ile olu\u015fmu\u015f eski kayalar, mikro fosiller a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli kaynak sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r. Bu kayalar \u00fczerindeki mikro fosil \u00f6rnekleri, d\u00fcnya \u00fczerindeki ilk canl\u0131 h\u00fccre \u00f6rneklerinin 3,8 milyar y\u0131l \u00f6nce ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedir. Ya\u015fam\u0131n d\u00fcnya \u00fczerinde nerede ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 sorusu ise kesin olarak cevapland\u0131r\u0131lmasa da ya\u015fam\u0131n okyanuslar\u0131n diplerindeki hidrotermal bacalar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7evresinde olu\u015ftu\u011fu hipotezi ge\u00e7erlik kazanmaktad\u0131r. Bu bacalardaki kimyasallar\u0131n bollu\u011fu ve sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 y\u00fcksek enerji, ilk canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n ba\u015flamas\u0131 i\u00e7in uygun bir ortam olu\u015fturmu\u015f olabilir.<\/p>\n<p>Canl\u0131 h\u00fccreleri, t\u00fcm karma\u015f\u0131k yap\u0131lar\u0131na ra\u011fmen ilksel \u00e7orbadan (kimyasal \u00e7orba-primordial soup) do\u011frudan olu\u015fmam\u0131\u015f bunun yerine \u00fcst \u00fcste biriken k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ad\u0131mlarla meydana gelmi\u015ftir. \u00d6ncelikle basit organik molek\u00fcller atmosferde olu\u015fmu\u015f ve ya\u011fmurlar ile ya\u011farak okyanuslar\u0131 doldurmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu basit molek\u00fcller aras\u0131nda DNA ve RNA\u2019n\u0131n da yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan n\u00fckleotidler de bulunmaktad\u0131r. Devam\u0131nda kendini kopyalayabilen molek\u00fcller evrimle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Hayat\u0131n ba\u015flamas\u0131ndaki temel basamak genetik materyalin kopyalan\u0131p aktar\u0131lmas\u0131 oldu\u011fundan, ilk evrimle\u015fen molek\u00fcl ayn\u0131 zamanda katalitik \u00f6zelli\u011fe de sahip RNA molek\u00fcl\u00fc olabilir. Bu a\u015fama \u201cRNA d\u00fcnyas\u0131\u201d hipotezi ile a\u00e7\u0131klanmakta ve RNA hem kendini kopyalay\u0131p bilgiyi ta\u015f\u0131rken hem de temel metabolik aktivitelerde bulunabilmektedir. Kendini kopyalayabilen ilk molek\u00fcllerden baz\u0131lar\u0131 di\u011ferlerine g\u00f6re daha ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olmu\u015f ve b\u00f6ylece ilk do\u011fal se\u00e7ilim \u00f6rnekleri de g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Zaman i\u00e7erisinde kendini daha iyi kopyalamay\u0131 ba\u015faran molek\u00fcller birikmi\u015f ve devam\u0131nda da basit bir h\u00fccre zar\u0131 ile \u00e7evrilmi\u015flerdir. Bu \u015fekilde de d\u0131\u015f d\u00fcnyadan gelecek etkilere kar\u015f\u0131 korunma sa\u011flanm\u0131\u015f ve genetik materyalin \u00fcr\u00fcnleri birbirine yak\u0131n tutulmu\u015f olurlar. \u00c7evrelerine zar geli\u015ftirebilen molek\u00fcller geli\u015ftiremeyenlere oranla \u00e7ok daha avantajl\u0131 duruma ge\u00e7mi\u015fler ve bu da ilk bakteri h\u00fccresinin olu\u015fumuna giden yolu a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu noktaya kadar i\u015flerin \u00e7o\u011funu b\u00fcy\u00fck ihtimalle RNA yapmaktayd\u0131. Ancak baz\u0131 h\u00fccrelerin RNA\u2019ya oranla daha dayan\u0131kl\u0131 DNA\u2019y\u0131 ve daha iyi katalitik aktiviteye sahip proteinleri kullanmas\u0131 ile RNA\u2019n\u0131n rol\u00fc daha \u00e7ok DNA ve protein aras\u0131nda bilgi ta\u015f\u0131y\u0131c\u0131 olarak belirlenmi\u015ftir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczden yakla\u015f\u0131k 2 milyar y\u0131l kadar \u00f6nce de \u00f6karyotik h\u00fccrelerin atalar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan prokaryotik h\u00fccrelerin h\u00fccre i\u00e7ine al\u0131nmas\u0131 ve bir \u015fekilde sindirimden kurtulmas\u0131 ile h\u00fccre i\u00e7i organeller, \u00f6ncelikle mitokondri ve kloroplast, olu\u015fmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f ve \u00f6karyotik h\u00fccrelerin yolu a\u00e7\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00d6karyotik h\u00fccrelerin prokaryotik h\u00fccrelerden olu\u015ftu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen bu hipoteze endosimbiosis ad\u0131 verilir. Takip eden 1 milyar y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde de h\u00fccreler yava\u015f yava\u015f bir araya gelerek, \u00e7okh\u00fccreli sistemleri olu\u015fturmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Yukardaki paragrafta da g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00fczere kompleks yap\u0131daki h\u00fccrelerin birdenbire yarat\u0131lmas\u0131na gerek yoktur, ayn\u0131 zamanda yarat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair bir kan\u0131t da yoktur. \u00c7ok daha basit ya\u015fam formlar\u0131n\u0131n kademeli olarak evrilmesi yoluyla daha kompleks h\u00fccrelere ula\u015f\u0131labilir. De\u011fi\u015fik hipotezler yard\u0131m\u0131yla ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen evrim s\u00fcrecinin a\u015famalar\u0131 olu\u015fturulup, elde edilen kan\u0131tlar ile mant\u0131kl\u0131 bir zaman \u00e7izelgesi yap\u0131labilmektedir. 1953 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lan Miller-Urey deneyi ile d\u00fcnyan\u0131n ilk atmosfer yap\u0131s\u0131 olu\u015fturulmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve basit organik bile\u015fiklerin ve \u00f6zellikle aminoasitlerin laboratuvar ortam\u0131nda olu\u015fturulabilece\u011fi g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. Bu ve benzeri deneyler tam olarak d\u00fcnyan\u0131n ilk atmosfer yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturmasa da, basit atomlardan organik bile\u015fiklerin y\u00fcksek enerji alt\u0131nda olu\u015fabildi\u011fini g\u00f6stermektedir. Buradaki \u00f6nemli noktalardan birisi, inorganik bir ortamdan organik bile\u015fiklerin olu\u015fabilece\u011fini g\u00f6stermektir. \u0130lkel d\u00fcnya atmosferi, sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 gerekli zaman, hammadde (inorganikler) ve enerji ile ilk organik bile\u015fiklerin (aminoasitler, hidrokarbonlar vb.) olu\u015fmas\u0131 i\u00e7in uygun bir ortam olu\u015fturacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ddiada dikkat edilmesi gereken bir yanl\u0131\u015f ise, evrimin \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma mekanizmas\u0131n\u0131 anlat\u0131rken, evrimin sadece tesad\u00fcflere dayand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemektir. En iyi ihtimalle, evrimin i\u015fleyi\u015f mekanizmas\u0131 hakk\u0131nda yeterli bilgisi olmayan ya da okuyucuyu yanl\u0131\u015f y\u00f6nlendirmeyi ama\u00e7layan bir yorumdur. Evrim tesad\u00fcflerin tersine son derece kontroll\u00fc bir \u015fekilde ilerler. Pop\u00fclasyonu olu\u015fturan bireylerin genetik yap\u0131lar\u0131nda, mutasyon ve genetik rekombinasyon yoluyla farkl\u0131l\u0131klar ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir. Bu noktada, tesad\u00fcflerden bahsedilebilir. Yani genetik yap\u0131n\u0131n farkl\u0131la\u015fmas\u0131nda. Ancak evrimin temel mekanizmas\u0131 olan do\u011fal se\u00e7ilim as\u0131l olarak bu noktadan sonra \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flar. Do\u011fal se\u00e7ilim yoluyla bir sonraki nesile aktar\u0131lmak \u00fczere se\u00e7ilen bireyin genetik yap\u0131s\u0131 benzer \u00e7evre \u015fartlar\u0131nda se\u00e7ilmeyi s\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fcp birikerek, yeni bir t\u00fcr\u00fcn olu\u015fmas\u0131na kadar gidebilir.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130ddiadaki di\u011fer bir \u00f6nemli yanl\u0131\u015f ise, bir teoriyi yanl\u0131\u015flayarak ba\u015fka bir fikrin do\u011frulu\u011funun ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131d\u0131r. Evrim teorisi bilimsel kan\u0131tlar \u00fczerine kurulmu\u015ftur ve bu kan\u0131tlar yoluyla do\u011fruland\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00fcrece ge\u00e7erlili\u011fini koruyacakt\u0131r. Canl\u0131 h\u00fccresinin olu\u015fmas\u0131 \u00fczerine de bilimsel kan\u0131tlara dayanan a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131n\u0131 yapmaktad\u0131r. Ve bu konuda elde edilen yeni veriler ile evrim teorisinin a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131 desteklenebilir ya da zay\u0131flayabilir. Ancak t\u00fcm h\u00fccrelerin bir yarat\u0131c\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan birdenbire \u015fu andaki kompleksliklerinde yarat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek ve bunu da destekleyecek hi\u00e7bir bilimsel veri g\u00f6sterememek, iki fikri birbirinden ayr\u0131 alanlara ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r.
