NASA, Amerikan Enerji Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n Ulusal N\u00fckleer Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar Ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 (NNSA) i\u015fbirli\u011finde yak\u0131n zamanda, uzun s\u00fcreli, m\u00fcrettebatl\u0131 Ay, Mars ve \u00f6tesine yap\u0131lmas\u0131 planlanan yolculuklara yard\u0131mc\u0131 olacak yeni bir n\u00fckleer reakt\u00f6r g\u00fc\u00e7 sistemini ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bir bi\u00e7imde kan\u0131tlad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kilopower deneyi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kilopower Reactor Using Stirling Technology (KRUSTY) olarak da bilinen deney, NASA\u2019n\u0131n Gleen Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi\u2019nde 2 May\u0131s\u2019ta ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen bir bas\u0131n toplant\u0131s\u0131nda tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. Ay\u2019a ve di\u011fer gezegenlere uzun s\u00fcreli g\u00f6revleri olan astronotlar yollamaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z zaman, daha \u00f6nce hi\u00e7 ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 kadar yeni nesil bir enerji kayna\u011f\u0131na ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z olacak.\u201d diyor.<\/p>\n<p>Kilopower deneyi, Mart ve Kas\u0131m 2017 tarihleri aras\u0131nda, NNSA\u2019in Nevada Ulusal G\u00fcvenlik B\u00f6lgesi (NNSS)\u2019nde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi. Sistemin fizyon yolu ile enerji \u00fcretebilece\u011fini g\u00f6stermesi yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, deneyin as\u0131l amac\u0131 bu \u00fcretimin her ortamda stabil ve g\u00fcvenli bir \u015fekilde ger\u00e7ekle\u015febilece\u011fini g\u00f6stermekti. Bundan dolay\u0131 Kilopower ekibi, deneyi d\u00f6rt fark\u0131 a\u015famada y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sistem i\u015fliyor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcce ihtiya\u00e7 duymadan y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen ilk iki a\u015fama, sistemdeki her bir bile\u015fenin d\u00fczg\u00fcn olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmakta oldu\u011funu do\u011frulad\u0131. Ekip \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc a\u015fama i\u00e7in, 28 saat s\u00fcrecek olan tam g\u00fc\u00e7 testini i\u00e7eren d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc a\u015famaya ge\u00e7meden evvel \u00e7ekirde\u011fi yava\u015f\u00e7a \u0131s\u0131tmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Bu a\u015famada reakt\u00f6r\u00fcn devreye girmesinden, tam g\u00fcce ula\u015fmas\u0131; istikrarl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131ndan kapat\u0131lmas\u0131na kadar uzanan ad\u0131mlar sim\u00fcle edildi.<\/p>\n<p>Deneyler s\u00fcresince sistem, sorunsuz \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya devam etti\u011fini ispatlamak i\u00e7in g\u00fc\u00e7 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fc\u015f\u00fc, \u0131s\u0131 borular\u0131 ve motorda \u00e7e\u015fitli ar\u0131zalardan olu\u015fan problem testlerinden ge\u00e7irildi. KRUSTY jenerat\u00f6r\u00fc elektrik sa\u011flamaya ve hangi uzay ke\u015ffi olursa olsun \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya devam etti\u011fini kan\u0131tlad\u0131. Gibson \u015f\u00f6yle devam ediyor:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSistemi ray\u0131na oturttuk. NASA\u2019n\u0131n Uzay Teknolojisi G\u00f6revi Direkt\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn bir g\u00f6revi olan bu program\u0131n amac\u0131, ajans\u0131n gelecek uzay g\u00f6revlerine tamamen yeni bir yakla\u015f\u0131m getirecek ileri uzay teknolojileri \u00fcretmektir. Ekip 2020 de Teknoloji Sunum g\u00f6revi program\u0131na (Technology Demonstration Mission) ge\u00e7i\u015f yapmay\u0131 ummaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>E\u011fer her \u015fey yolunda giderse, KRUSTY reakt\u00f6rleri Ay ve Mars y\u00fczeyinde daha uzak noktalara kal\u0131c\u0131 olarak gitmemize olanak sa\u011flayabilir. Ayr\u0131ca regolitten \u00fcretilen materyaller gibi yerel kaynak kullan\u0131m\u0131 ile buzdan hidrazin yak\u0131t\u0131 \u00fcretimine yard\u0131m edebilir.<\/p>\n<p>Basit\u00e7e, Ay\u2019da regolitten 3 boyutlu yaz\u0131c\u0131larla \u00fcretim yapacak robotlar olu\u015fturuldu\u011funda astronotlar ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve deneyleri y\u00fcr\u00fctmek \u00fczere Ay y\u00fczeyine -Uluslararas\u0131 Uzay \u0130stasyon\u2019unda oldu\u011fu gibi- d\u00fczenli olarak yolculuk edecekler.
