Yap\u0131lan ke\u015fif, 11 May\u0131s&#8217;ta arXiv.org&#8217;da yay\u0131nland\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Aktif Galaktik \u00c7ekirdekleri*(\u00e7n) (Active Galactic Nucleus, AGN)\u2019ne ev sahipli\u011fi yapan daha b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00f6kada gruplar\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcyeleri olarak s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131lan blazarlar, en fazla say\u0131da ekstragalaktik gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n kayna\u011f\u0131na sahip g\u00f6kcisimleridir. Bu g\u00f6kcisimlerini \u00e7ekici k\u0131lan \u015fey ise, D\u00fcnya \u00fczerinden tespit edebilece\u011fimiz relativistik jetlere sahip olmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Genel olarak blazarlar, g\u00f6kbilimciler taraf\u0131ndan par\u00e7ac\u0131klar\u0131n h\u0131zlanmas\u0131, relativistik plazma s\u00fcre\u00e7leri, manyetik alan dinami\u011fi ve karadelik fizi\u011fi gibi bir\u00e7ok konuyu incelemek i\u00e7in \u00f6nemlidir. Bunun nedeni ise, \u00e7ok y\u00fcksek enerjilerde emisyon yapmalar\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 ideal birer do\u011fal laboratuvar olmalar\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>NASA&#8217;n\u0131n Fermi Gama-I\u015f\u0131n Teleskobu, blazar ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00f6nemlidir. Uzay arac\u0131, yakla\u015f\u0131k 20 milyon ile 300 milyar elektron volt enerjili fotonlar\u0131 tespit edilmesini sa\u011flayan Geni\u015f Alan Teleskopu (Large Area Telescope, LAT) ile donat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Fermi\u2019nin g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fi gama \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131, \u015fimdiye dek g\u00f6zlemlenmi\u015f en parlak ve en de\u011fi\u015fken kaynaklardan biriydi. Elde edilen veriler \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda Rani ve ekibi blazardan gelen gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n emisyonunun do\u011fas\u0131n\u0131 daha iyi kavramalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Kas\u0131m 2013 ile A\u011fustos 2014 aras\u0131nda 3C 279&#8217;da alt\u0131 tane gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 patlamas\u0131 g\u00f6zlendi. Blazar 3C 279 i\u00e7in yap\u0131lan bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, \u00e7oklu gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n emisyon b\u00f6lgelerinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131yor. Makalede yaz\u0131lanlara g\u00f6re, VLBI polarizasyon g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclemesi kullanarak, blazarlardaki kompakt y\u00fcksek enerjili emisyon b\u00f6lgelerinin manyetik alan geometrisi ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131labilir. Ekip VLBI sayesinde, ilk \u00fc\u00e7 gama \u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 patlamas\u0131n\u0131n oldu\u011fu s\u0131rada yeni bir bile\u015fenin (NC2 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f) d\u0131\u015far\u0131 at\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n sonucunda \u00e7ekirde\u011finin y\u00fcksek enerjili emisyonun muhtemel yeri oldu\u011funu g\u00f6sterdi\u011fini ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca, son \u00fc\u00e7 patlama ile yeni bile\u015fenin (NC3) d\u0131\u015far\u0131 at\u0131lmas\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki gecikme, y\u00fcksek enerjili emisyonun 43 GHz\u2019lik emisyona sahip \u00e7ekirde\u011fin (blazar\u0131n merkezindeki kara deli\u011fe daha yak\u0131n olan) ak\u0131\u015f yukar\u0131s\u0131nda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor.<\/p>\n<p>Astronomlar, sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n ayr\u0131ca 3C 279 blazar\u0131daki y\u00fcksek enerji da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m b\u00f6lgelerinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ke\u015ffetti. Dahas\u0131, ekibe g\u00f6re VLBI, y\u00fcksek enerji da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m b\u00f6lgelerini ara\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in en verimli ara\u00e7 oldu\u011funu kan\u0131tlam\u0131\u015f oldu.
