G\u0131dalardan elde edilecek enerjinin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in v\u00fccudumuzdaki her bir h\u00fccre taraf\u0131ndan besin molek\u00fcllerini enerjiye d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcren bir mekanizma i\u015fletiliyor. Bu metabolik reaksiyonlar zinciri, h\u00fccrenin \u201cmitokondri\u201d ad\u0131 verilen \u201cenerji makinesi\u201dnde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fiyor. Bilim \u00e7evrelerince y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen bir\u00e7ok ara\u015ft\u0131rma da mitokondrilerin ya\u015fam i\u00e7in zorunlu bir organel oldu\u011funu ortaya koyuyor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018Proteinleri olu\u015fturma s\u00fcrecini kontrol eden bir dizi gen\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0130svi\u00e7re ve Avusturya\u2019da bulunan enstit\u00fclerin i\u015fbirli\u011fi ile y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada yer alan Profes\u00f6r Filipovska, h\u00fccrenin \u201cenerji santrali\u201d olan mitokondrilerin t\u00fcm \u00f6karyotik h\u00fccrelerde bulundu\u011funu ve i\u00e7erdi\u011fi \u00e7ift katl\u0131 zar tabakas\u0131 nedeniyle prokaryotik ya\u015fam bi\u00e7imlerinde bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etti. Profes\u00f6r Filipovska, a\u00e7\u0131klamalar\u0131n\u0131 \u201cMitokondri, organel i\u00e7erisinde enerji \u00fcretilmesini sa\u011flayan kilit proteinleri olu\u015fturma s\u00fcrecini de kontrol eden bir dizi gen i\u00e7erir\u201d ifadeleri ile s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc. Yap\u0131lan son \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ile \u2018Mitokondriyal Ribozom\u2019 ad\u0131 verilen bu proteinlerin atom yap\u0131s\u0131 ve enerji \u00fcretimini nas\u0131l ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi\u011fi ortaya konmu\u015ftur. Mitokondrinin enerji \u00fcretimine odakl\u0131 mekanizmas\u0131; bahsedilen proteinlerin sentezlenmesinden, bu proteinler mitokondri i\u00e7erisinde gerekli yere konumlanana kadar bloke halde bulunuyor.
