D\u00fcnyan\u0131n manyetik alan\u0131ndaki sal\u0131n\u0131mlara g\u00f6re d\u00fczenli olarak g\u00fcncellenen ve basit pusulalardan cep telefonlar\u0131m\u0131zdaki GoogleMap\u2019a kadar t\u00fcm modern navigasyon sistemlerinin taban\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan D\u00fcnya Manyetik Modeli (bir anlamda k\u00fcresel manyetik alan\u0131n haritas\u0131) planlanan tarihten yakla\u015f\u0131k bir y\u0131l evvel, 30 Ocak 2019\u2019da yeniden ayarlanacak.<\/p>\n<p>Sorunun bizlere d\u00f6n\u00fck y\u00fcz\u00fcnde hareketlenen manyetik kutup yer al\u0131yorsa g\u00f6r\u00fcnmeyen y\u00fcz\u00fcnde manyetik alan\u0131n as\u0131l kayna\u011f\u0131, yani yery\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn derinliklerindeki hareketlenmeler yat\u0131yor. Jeomanyetizma ad\u0131yla da bilinen manyetik alan b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n \u00e7ekirde\u011finde bulunan s\u0131v\u0131 haldeki metallerin hareketiyle \u00fcretilir. Neredeyse Mars gezegeni b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki \u00e7ekirde\u011fin en merkezinde bas\u0131nc\u0131n yo\u011funlu\u011fuyla s\u0131k\u0131\u015farak kat\u0131la\u015fm\u0131\u015f demir, etraf\u0131nda da daha ak\u0131\u015fkan ve s\u00fcrekli hareket halindeki demir-nikel kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131 d\u0131\u015f \u00e7ekirdek bulunur.
