Daha \u00f6nce \u0130rlandal\u0131 bilim adam\u0131 Robert Boyle de hava kompozisyonu ve hava bas\u0131nc\u0131 \u00fczerinde yo\u011fun ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda bulunmu\u015ftu. Ger\u00e7i belli bir bile\u015fim i\u00e7in ayn\u0131 bile\u015fenlerin daima ayn\u0131 oranda i\u015fleme girdi\u011fi, \u00f6teden beri biliniyordu.
