Bu genetik \u00e7e\u015fitlilik, bireylerin baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n, \u201cyeni bir ortama uyum sa\u011flama ve soyunu s\u00fcrd\u00fcrme\u201d s\u00fcrecinde di\u011ferlerine oranla daha ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayacakt\u0131r. Darwin\u2019in \u00e7izdi\u011fi ve t\u00fcrlerin ortak bir atadan nas\u0131l ev\u00adrimle\u015ferek geldiklerini g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi soya\u011fac\u0131nda, her bir dallanma ile yeni ortak \u00f6zellikler vurgulanmaktad\u0131r. Sahip olduklar\u0131 ortak \u00f6zelliklere g\u00f6re iki farkl\u0131 t\u00fcr, soya\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinde akrabal\u0131k dere\u00adcelerine g\u00f6re grupland\u0131r\u0131labilir.<\/p>\n<p>Canl\u0131lardaki \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin, evrimin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc oldu\u011funa ili\u015fkin kan\u0131tlar aras\u0131nda homolog yap\u0131lar\u0131n g\u00f6zlenmesi (anatomik, embriyolojik ve molek\u00fcler homolojiler), fosil kay\u0131tlar\u0131 ve biyo\u00adco\u011frafik kan\u0131tlar say\u0131labilir. Farkl\u0131 yollarla elde edilen bu kan\u0131t\u00adlar, birbirini destekler niteliktedir. Bu kan\u0131tlar t\u00fcrlerin soya\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinde akrabal\u0131k derecelerine g\u00f6re yerlerinin belirlenmesinde kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ortak bir atadaki ayn\u0131 yap\u0131dan de\u011fi\u015ferek ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan yap\u0131lara homolojik yap\u0131lar ad\u0131 verilir. Anatomik, embriyolojik ve mole\u00adk\u00fcler homolojiler olmak \u00fczere 3 grupta incelenebilir.<\/p>\n<p>Anatomik homolojiler, ayn\u0131 taksonomik kategori i\u00e7inde grup\u00adland\u0131r\u0131lan t\u00fcrler aras\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a bellidir. Bu durumun a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131, her birinin ortak atalar\u0131ndaki benzer yap\u0131\u00adlar\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirerek yeni fonksiyonlar i\u00e7in yap\u0131lar olu\u015fturduklar\u0131d\u0131r. Bu \u00f6n \u00fcyelerdeki temel benzerli\u011fin nedeni d\u00f6rt t\u00fcr\u00fcn de ayn\u0131 atadan t\u00fcreyen memeli soylar\u0131 olmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Atasal \u00f6zellik, her bir t\u00fcrde gerekli olan farkl\u0131 i\u015flevler nedeniyle temel yap\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fiklik\u00adlerine u\u011fram\u0131\u015f ve birbirinin varyasyonu \u015feklinde ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f\u00adt\u0131r. Burada da g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00fczere farkl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerin sahip olduklar\u0131 ho\u00admolog yap\u0131lar o t\u00fcrlerin soya\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinde grupland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131nda kullan\u0131labilir.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00f6relmi\u015f organlar da homolog yap\u0131lara \u00f6rnek olarak verile\u00adbilir. Bu organlar bir zamanlar atasal organizmalardaki \u00f6nemli i\u015flevler g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f olan yap\u0131lar\u0131n kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131d\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin insan v\u00fccudunda y\u00fczden fazla yap\u0131 k\u00f6relmi\u015f organ olarak tan\u0131mlan\u00admaktad\u0131r. Bunlar aras\u0131nda apandis, kuyruk sokumu kemi\u011fi, kulak kaslar\u0131 ve k\u0131llar g\u00f6sterilebilir. Ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde baz\u0131 y\u0131lanla\u00adr\u0131n iskeletlerinde, y\u00fcr\u00fcyen atalar\u0131n\u0131n bacak kemikleri ve kal\u00e7a kemeri k\u00f6relmi\u015f olarak varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmektedir. E\u011fer y\u0131lanlar, di\u011fer omurgal\u0131 hayvanlardan ayr\u0131 bir k\u00f6kene sahip olmu\u015f ol\u00adsayd\u0131, bu yap\u0131lar\u0131 g\u00f6rmeyi beklemeyecektik. Zaman i\u00e7erisinde \u00f6nemini kaybedip k\u00f6relen bu organlar, genel olarak organizma i\u00e7in zararl\u0131 da olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, tamamen ortadan kald\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7evresel bask\u0131 zay\u0131f olacak ve organ yeni t\u00fcrlerde de varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrecektir. Bu \u015fekilde de soya\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinde t\u00fcrler aras\u0131nda ba\u011flant\u0131 kurulurken, t\u00fcrlerin hangi atasal t\u00fcrlerden geldi\u011fini ortaya koymada kullan\u0131labilirler.<\/p>\n<p>Baz\u0131 homolojiler ise ergin organizmalarda belirgin bir \u015fekil\u00adde g\u00f6zlemlenemedi\u011fi halde, embriyonik geli\u015fime bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmaktad\u0131r. Bu t\u00fcr homolojilere embriyolojik homolojiler denilmektedir. \u00d6rne\u011fin, omurgal\u0131 embriyolar\u0131n\u0131n hepsi g\u0131rtlak b\u00f6lgelerinde geli\u015fimlerinin baz\u0131 evrelerinde farinje\u00adal cepler ad\u0131 verilen yap\u0131lara sahiptir. Bu embriyonik yap\u0131lar, \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 i\u015flevleri olan homolog yap\u0131lara geli\u015firler; \u00f6rne\u011fin bal\u0131kla\u00adr\u0131n solunga\u00e7lar\u0131 ya da insanda ve di\u011fer memelilerde orta kula\u011f\u0131 yuta\u011fa ba\u011flayan \u00f6staki borusu gibi. Embriyolojik homolojiler, t\u00fcrlerin yak\u0131n bir ge\u00e7mi\u015fte olmasa da, soya\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinde ortak bir atada bulu\u015ftuklar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6sterecektir.<\/p>\n<p>Bir di\u011fer homoloji t\u00fcr\u00fc ise molek\u00fcler homolojilerdir. T\u00fcm organizmalar molek\u00fcler d\u00fczeyde belirli \u00f6zellikleri payla\u015f\u0131r: Canl\u0131lar\u0131n molek\u00fcler yap\u0131lar\u0131 birbirlerinden \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 olabile\u00adce\u011fi gibi, \u00e7ok benzer de olabilir. \u00d6rne\u011fin canl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerinin hepsi DNA ve\/veya RNA\u2019dan olu\u015fan ayn\u0131 temel genetik malzemeyi kullan\u0131r. Genetik kod evrenseldir ve canl\u0131lar\u0131n soya\u011fac\u0131n\u0131n t\u00fcm dallar\u0131 boyunca aktar\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Bu da bizi, t\u00fcm canl\u0131lar\u0131n ortak bir ataya sahip olduklar\u0131 sonucuna g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fcr. DNA dizisindeki genetik kod mRNA\u2019ya yaz\u0131l\u0131rken \u00fc\u00e7 n\u00fckleotid\u00adden olu\u015fan ve kodon ad\u0131 verilen diziler ile anlam kazanmaktad\u0131r ve her bir kodon i\u00e7in protein sentezi s\u0131ras\u0131nda belirli bir amino\u00adasit kodlanacakt\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin, DNA dizisindeki \u201cAAA\u201d, mRNA\u2019da \u201cUUU\u201d olarak kodlan\u0131r ve kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k olarak sentezlenen aminoasit fenilalanindir. \u0130nsanlardan bakterilere ve bitkilere kadar t\u00fcm or\u00adganizmalarda ayn\u0131 genetik kod ayn\u0131 aminoasidi sentezleyecektir. Organizmalar\u0131n gen dizileri ve proteinlerinin aminoasit dizileri de kimi durumlarda \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 olabilirken, baz\u0131 durumlarda \u00e7ok benzer olabilmektedir. Farkl\u0131 organizmalarda ayn\u0131 i\u015flevi g\u00f6ren proteinlerin aminoasit dizileri ya da bu proteinleri kodlayan DNA dizileri \u00e7ok benzerlik g\u00f6sterebilmektedir. T\u00fcrler aras\u0131nda\u00adki akrabal\u0131k derecesi de artt\u0131k\u00e7a diziler aras\u0131ndaki benzerlik de artmaktad\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin insan hemoglobinin polipeptidiyle Rhesus maymunu, fare ya da kurba\u011fa hemoglobinlerinin polipeptidleri aras\u0131ndaki farkl\u0131 aminoasit say\u0131s\u0131, akrabal\u0131k azald\u0131k\u00e7a artmakta\u00add\u0131r. \u0130nsan hemoglobini ile Rhesus maymunu hemoglobini birbi\u00adrinden 8 aminoasit farkl\u0131 iken, fareninkiyle 27, kurba\u011fan\u0131nkiyle de 67\u2019dir. Aminoasit dizilerindeki benzerlikler ayn\u0131 zamanda DNA dizisindeki benzerlikleri de yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Homolog yap\u0131 kavram\u0131n\u0131n anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in analog yap\u0131lardan yani homoplasiden de bahsetmek gerekir. \u0130ki farkl\u0131 t\u00fcr aras\u0131n\u00addaki homolojilere karar verirken, homolog yap\u0131lar\u0131 analog ya\u00adp\u0131lardan ay\u0131rabilmek gerekir. Analog yap\u0131lar akrabal\u0131k derecesi yak\u0131n olmayan organizmalardaki benzer fonksiyonlar\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fcten yap\u0131lard\u0131r. \u00d6rnek olarak ku\u015flar\u0131n ve sineklerin kanatlar\u0131 analog yap\u0131lara \u00f6rnek verilebilir. Ku\u015flar da sinekler de, anatomik yap\u0131\u00adlar\u0131 olduk\u00e7a farkl\u0131 oldu\u011fu halde, u\u00e7ma \u00f6zelli\u011fini elde edebilmek i\u00e7in benzer yap\u0131lar olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur.
