Bu devirlerin ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 ve biti\u015f noktalar\u0131 \u00f6nemli jeolojik olaylara g\u00f6re belirlenmi\u015ftir ve her devir canl\u0131l\u0131k a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan farkl\u0131 \u00f6zellikler i\u00e7erir. \u0130nsano\u011flu ise milyarlarca y\u0131l s\u00fcren bu hik\u00e2yenin sadece son 6-7 milyon senesinde yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Elinizdeki kitapta, bundan sonraki b\u00f6l\u00fcmler\u00adde yer alan sorularda, ya\u015fam\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 ve canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00e7e\u015fitlenmesini ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 olarak ele alaca\u011f\u0131z; fakat bu soru\u00adda, canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n hik\u00e2yesini kavramam\u0131zda yard\u0131mc\u0131 olmas\u0131 bak\u0131m\u0131ndan, D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n olu\u015fumdan itibaren ge\u00e7en jeo\u00adlojik devirleri, biyolojik evrimle paralel bir b\u00fct\u00fcn olarak \u00f6zet bir bi\u00e7imde veriyoruz.<\/p>\n<p>Jeolojik zamanlar\u0131, temelde Kambriyen \u00f6ncesi ve son\u00adras\u0131 olarak ikiye ay\u0131rabiliriz. Kambriyen Devri\u2019nin (545-495 my\u00f6) ay\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 \u00f6zelli\u011fi, daha \u00f6nceki zamana g\u00f6re canl\u0131 \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011finde ya\u015fanan h\u0131zl\u0131 art\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ya\u015fam her yan\u0131 dol\u00addurmu\u015f ve say\u0131s\u0131z \u015fekil ve t\u00fcrde canl\u0131 t\u00fcremi\u015ftir. En az\u0131n\u00addan elimize ge\u00e7en fosil ve bilgi say\u0131s\u0131 bu d\u00f6nemde b\u00fcy\u00fck bir art\u0131\u015f g\u00f6stermektedir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kambriyen Devri \u00f6ncesi:<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Hadean, Arkean, Proterozoyik<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kambriyen \u00f6ncesinde D\u00fcnya y\u00fczeyi so\u011fumu\u015f, atmos\u00adfer ve okyanuslar ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Ya\u015fam g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczden 3,5-3,8 milyar y\u0131l \u00f6nce ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f, bakteriler, \u00f6kar\u00adyotlar, \u00e7okh\u00fccreli canl\u0131lar t\u00fcremi\u015fti. Bu d\u00f6nem hakk\u0131n\u00adda bilgilerimiz olduk\u00e7a s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131. \u00d6zellikle ilk zamanlardan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze ula\u015fan kaya\u00e7lar\u0131n bulunmamas\u0131 nedeniyle bil\u00addiklerimiz tart\u0131\u015fmal\u0131. Bilinen en eski kaya\u00e7lar 3,8-4 milyar y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine ait.<\/p>\n<p>Kambriyen \u00f6ncesi d\u00f6nemi kendi i\u00e7inde \u00fc\u00e7 farkl\u0131 zama\u00adna b\u00f6lebiliriz:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)Hadean Eonu<\/strong> <strong>(~4500-3800 my\u00f6):<\/strong> Bu d\u00f6nem jeolojik bir devir olarak kabul edil\u00admese de, D\u00fcnya tari\u00adhinin b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn sa\u011flanmas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6zelliklerini bilmeliyiz. Bu d\u00f6nem, D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n ve G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi\u2019nin olu\u015fum a\u015famas\u0131nda oldu\u011fu ve D\u00fcnya \u00fczerinde yo\u011fun me\u00adteor bombard\u0131man\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6nemdir. Ay\u2019\u0131 olu\u015fturan dev \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma da bu d\u00f6nemde meydana gelmi\u015ftir. Bu gibi dev \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fmalar sayesinde D\u00fcnya ilk zamanlarda erimi\u015f bir halde olsa da, sonralar\u0131 y\u00fczeyde kabuk tabakas\u0131, ilk k\u0131\u00adtalar, atmosfer ve okyanuslar olu\u015fmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bask\u0131n olarak bulunan canl\u0131 grubu arkea\u00adlard\u0131 ve okyanuslarda ya\u015f\u0131yorlard\u0131. Atmosfer g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz at\u00admosferinden \u00e7ok farkl\u0131yd\u0131. B\u00fcy\u00fck ihtimalle metan, amon\u00adyak ve di\u011fer toksik gazlardan olu\u015fan ve d\u0131\u015far\u0131da ya\u015fama izin vermeyecek indirgen bir atmosfer vard\u0131. Fotosentez yapan siyanobakterilerin ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile birlikte okya\u00adnuslarda oksijen de yay\u0131lmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Atmosferde oksijen miktar\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile birlikte arkealar aza\u00adlarak oksijensiz b\u00f6lgele\u00adre \u00e7ekilirken bakteriler yay\u0131ld\u0131. Devam\u0131nda da \u00f6karyotlar ve \u00e7okh\u00fccre\u00adliler ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar. Ro\u00addinia S\u00fcperk\u0131tas\u0131 olu\u015ftu. D\u00fcnya\u2019n\u0131n g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc en b\u00fcy\u00fck buzul \u00e7a\u011flar\u0131 bu d\u00f6nemde ya\u015fand\u0131 ve yery\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn tamam\u0131 buzlarla kapland\u0131. Bu d\u00f6nemde Ediacara Fauna\u00ads\u0131 olarak bilinen fauna, ilk yumu\u015fak dokulu \u00e7okh\u00fccreli hayvanlar\u0131 bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131r. Bu zamanda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan hayvan\u00adlar bilinen canl\u0131lara benzemeyen garip \u015fekillerdeki canl\u0131\u00adlard\u0131. Canl\u0131 \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011finin h\u0131zla artt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir d\u00f6nemdi. Suda \u00e7e\u015fitlenen ya\u015fam zamanla karalara yay\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve her yeri kaplam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu d\u00f6nem di\u00adnozorlardan memelilere, ilkel bitkilerden devasa orman\u00adlara ve g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn \u00e7i\u00e7ekli bitkilerine kadar ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan t\u00fcrlerle D\u00fcnya \u00fczerindeki ya\u015fam\u0131 temelden \u015fekillendiren d\u00f6nem olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)Paleozoyik Zaman (545-251,4 my\u00f6):<br \/>\n<\/strong>Paleozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 ya\u015fam a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli iki olay belirlemi\u015ftir. \u00c7okh\u00fccreli hayvanlar\u0131n k\u0131sa s\u00fcre i\u00e7erisinde \u00e7e\u015fitlendi\u011fi \u201cKambriyen Patlamas\u0131\u201d ile ba\u015flar ve tarihte bilinen en b\u00fcy\u00fck kitlesel yok olu\u015f ile son bulur. Paleozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n sonuna do\u011fru ise k\u0131talar tekrar birle\u015ferek s\u00fcperk\u0131ta Pangea\u2019y\u0131 olu\u015fturacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Paleozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n ortalar\u0131na do\u011fru denizlerde omurgal\u0131lar ve \u00f6zellikle de bal\u0131klar yayg\u0131nla\u015f\u0131rken hay\u00advanlar, mantarlar, bitkiler ve b\u00f6cekler karaya yerle\u015fmeye ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Paleozoyik\u2019in sonlar\u0131na do\u011fru ise yery\u00fcz\u00fc u\u00e7suz bu\u00adcaks\u0131z ormanlarla kapland\u0131. Bu ormanlarda b\u00f6cekler, am\u00adfibiler (suda ve karada ya\u015fayanlar) ve s\u00fcr\u00fcngenler g\u00f6ze \u00e7arpan hayvanlard\u0131. Zaman\u0131n sonlar\u0131nda s\u00fcr\u00fcngenler olduk\u00e7a \u00e7e\u015fitlendi ve memelilerin ve dinozorlar\u0131n atalar\u0131 olan gruplar ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Paleozoyik\u2019in son d\u00f6nemi olan Permiyen sonunda ger\u00ad\u00e7ekle\u015fen kitlesel yok olu\u015f ile birlikte canl\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu ortadan kalkt\u0131. Ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan biyolojik bo\u015flu\u011fu ise devam eden zamanda \u00f6zellikle dinozorlar dolduracak\u00adt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2)Mesozoyik Zaman (251,4 my\u00f6-65,5 my\u00f6):<br \/>\n<\/strong>Dinozor\u00adlar \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 olarak da adland\u0131rabiliriz. S\u00fcperk\u0131ta Pangea, Me\u00adsozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n ilk d\u00f6neminin sonuna kadar varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrse de, daha sonra par\u00e7alanmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Zaman\u0131n son d\u00f6nemi olan Kretase\u2019de Lavrasya ve Gondvana yeni\u00adden birbirinden ayr\u0131l\u0131r ve daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck par\u00e7alara b\u00f6l\u00fcn\u00fcr\u00adler; k\u0131talar hemen hemen g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki bi\u00e7imlerini alma\u00adya ba\u015flar. \u0130klim s\u0131cakt\u0131r, hatta kutuplarda dahi buzulla\u015fma yoktur. Paleozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n sonunda ba\u015flayan kurak ve a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 karasal iklim Me\u00adsozoyik Zaman\u2019\u0131n ilk d\u00f6neminde (Triyas) devam eder. Jura\u2019da (Jurasik D\u00f6nem) iklim yeniden nemli hale ge\u00adlir ve k\u0131talar yeniden bitkilerle kaplan\u0131r. Bu nemli ve mevsimsel\u00adli\u011fin \u00e7ok belirgin ol\u00admad\u0131\u011f\u0131 yumu\u015fak iklimsel e\u011filim, Kretase Devri boyunca devam edecektir.<\/p>\n<p>Permiyen Devri sonunda meydana gelen kitlesel yok olu\u015fta sa\u011f kalmay\u0131 ba\u015faran deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131 \u00e7e\u015fitlenerek pek \u00e7ok yeni grup ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131. Modern zamanlar\u0131n de\u00adniz omurgas\u0131z ya\u015fam\u0131 Mesozoyik\u2019te kurulmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130lk devir olan Triyas\u2019ta s\u00fcr\u00fcngenler ve memeli benzeri s\u00fcr\u00fcngenler karasal ekosistemin bask\u0131n gruplar\u0131yd\u0131. \u0130lk ger\u00e7ek memeliler Triyas\u2019\u0131n sonunda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. Triyas\u2019\u0131n sonunda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen yok olu\u015fla, memeli benzeri s\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00adgenler de dahil, ilkel s\u00fcr\u00fcngenlerin ve ikiya\u015faml\u0131lar\u0131n (amfibiler) \u00e7o\u011fu yok oldu ve yeni d\u00f6nemde dinozor ve yeni s\u00fcr\u00fcngen gruplar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fc a\u00e7\u0131lm\u0131\u015f oldu.
