Hangi \u00f6zellikleri onu ve farkl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerini g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k end\u00fcstrisinin belki de en \u00f6nemli t\u00fcr\u00fc haline getirdi?\u00a0 Pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131n\u0131n s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fi ve geneti\u011fi \u00fczerine ne gibi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131l\u0131yor?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u0130ngilizcede \u201cEuropean anchovy\u201d yani Avrupa hamsisi olarak ge\u00e7en, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ise hamsi denilince akla gelen tek t\u00fcr olan <em>Engraulis encrasicolus<\/em>, D\u00fcnya bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131ndaki en \u00f6nemli t\u00fcrlerden biri olup Karadeniz ve Azak Denizi de dahil olmak \u00fczere t\u00fcm Akdeniz\u2019de ve ayr\u0131ca Do\u011fu Atlantik k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131 boyunca Norve\u00e7\u2019ten G\u00fcney Afrika\u2019ya kadar uzanan bir alanda da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m g\u00f6sterir. Sardalya ile birlikte, d\u00fcnyadaki ve \u00f6zellikle Akdeniz \u00fclkelerindeki bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k \u00fcr\u00fcnlerinin \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011funu temsil eder.<sup>(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Engraulidae familyas\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcyeleri genellikle planktivor (suda ya\u015fayan mikroskobik canl\u0131larla beslenen) t\u00fcrleridir ve ortalama b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc 10-20 cm\u2019dir. Hamsi, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck ve y\u00fcksek (y\u00fczde 0,5-4) tuzluluk aras\u0131ndaki sularda olu\u015fabilen \u00f6rihalin (\u00e7e\u015fitli tuzluluk derecelerine uyum sa\u011flayabilmi\u015f canl\u0131lar) bir t\u00fcrd\u00fcr. En yo\u011fun ticari bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 Karadeniz\u2019de y\u00fczde 1,7 tuzluluk seviyesini tolere edebilir ve daha sonra tuzluluk seviyesinin y\u00fczde 0-1,7 aras\u0131nda oldu\u011fu Azak Denizi\u2019ne su uygun s\u0131cakl\u0131klara ula\u015ft\u0131ktan sonra girebilir.<sup>(2)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Akdeniz ve Karadeniz, d\u00fcnya hamsi av\u0131n\u0131n y\u00fczde 5\u2019ini sa\u011flar ve bu rakam da yakla\u015f\u0131k 600.000 tona e\u015fittir. Bu alandaki en yo\u011fun bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k yapan \u00fclkeler T\u00fcrkiye, \u0130talya, G\u00fcrcistan ve Yunanistan\u2019d\u0131r. Ancak son y\u0131llarda, y\u00fcksek ticari talep hamsi pop\u00fclasyonlar\u0131n\u0131n a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fclmesine yol a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Hamsi, 2010 y\u0131l\u0131 sonras\u0131 h\u0131zla 500.000 tonun alt\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f ve yetkilileri y\u00f6netim planlar\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesi ve stok durumunun izlenmesi i\u00e7in \u00f6nlemler almaya zorlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<sup>(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Y\u00f6netim stratejilerini uygulamak i\u00e7in yumurtlama alanlar\u0131n\u0131 belirlemek, pop\u00fclasyonun genetik yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6zmek ve pop\u00fclasyonlar aras\u0131ndaki genetik farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmek b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131r. Yumurtlama habitatlar\u0131n\u0131n Akdeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131ndaki da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 sadece ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 akustik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 alanlar i\u00e7in bilinmektedir.<sup>(3)<\/sup> G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde, bu karma\u015f\u0131k pop\u00fclasyon yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n anla\u015f\u0131labilmesi i\u00e7in bir\u00e7ok genetik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmektedir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 daha iyi anlayabilmek i\u00e7in \u00f6ncesinde k\u0131saca bal\u0131klar\u0131n evrimi ve hamsi t\u00fcrlerinin bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te ya\u015fam a\u011fac\u0131n\u0131n neresinde ve ne zaman ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlamak \u00f6nemli.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Bal\u0131klar\u0131n evrimi<\/em><\/strong><sup>(4)<br \/>\n<\/sup>Bal\u0131klar\u0131n evrimi, ilk duyuldu\u011funda dinozorlar\u0131n veya insanlar\u0131n evrimi kadar kula\u011fa ilgi \u00e7ekici gelmeyebilir. Ancak s\u00fcrece, bal\u0131klar\u0131n evrimi olmasayd\u0131 dinozorlar\u0131n ve insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n asla var olmayabilece\u011fi penceresinden bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ilgi \u00e7ekicili\u011fi artar. Bal\u0131klar, gezegenimizde bilinen ilk omurgal\u0131lard\u0131 ve milyonlarca y\u0131ll\u0131k evrim i\u00e7in milyonlarca t\u00fcre temel \u015fekli ve bedeni sa\u011flad\u0131lar. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7 tarih \u00f6ncesi bal\u0131klar\u0131 inceleyen Paleoihtiyoloji alan\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00f6nemlidir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc t\u00fcm b\u00fcy\u00fck hayvan v\u00fccudu planlar\u0131n\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6nem olarak bilinir. \u0130lk bal\u0131klar bug\u00fcn bildi\u011fimiz bal\u0131klara \u00e7eneleri veya omurlar\u0131 olmamas\u0131 nedeniyle benzemiyorlard\u0131. Bu bal\u0131klar Agnatha, yani \u00e7enesiz bal\u0131klar olarak bilinmektedirler. Kambriyen d\u00f6neminin sonlar\u0131nda ise, y\u0131lan bal\u0131\u011f\u0131 benzeri \u00e7enesiz bal\u0131klar, Ostracoderm olarak bilinen di\u011fer k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck z\u0131rhl\u0131 bal\u0131klarla birlikte ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. B\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00f6zleri, y\u00fczge\u00e7leri, \u201cv\u201d \u015feklindeki kaslar\u0131 ve notokordlar\u0131 (omurga tasla\u011f\u0131) vard\u0131. Ostracodermlerin var oldu\u011fu 100 milyon y\u0131l boyunca yakla\u015f\u0131k 600 t\u00fcr bulunmaktayd\u0131. Daha \u00f6nceki bal\u0131klardan farkl\u0131 olarak solunga\u00e7lar\u0131 sadece nefes almak i\u00e7in evrimle\u015fmi\u015fti. Daha \u00f6nce solunga\u00e7lar beslenmede de kullan\u0131l\u0131yordu.<\/p>\n<p>Omurgan\u0131n evrimi memeliler, bal\u0131klar, ku\u015flar, s\u00fcr\u00fcngenler ve amfibiler i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00f6nemliydi. Genel olarak, ilk omurga yap\u0131s\u0131 Ordovician d\u00f6neminden yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nceye tarihlenir. Kambriyen d\u00f6neminde, ilk bal\u0131k benzeri canl\u0131lar (paleontologlar taraf\u0131ndan kesinlikle ger\u00e7ek bal\u0131k olarak kabul edilmemelerine ra\u011fmen), yakla\u015f\u0131k 530 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nce ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bir bal\u0131ktan daha \u00e7ok solucan gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnen Pikaia, belki de bal\u0131\u011f\u0131n en eski atas\u0131d\u0131r. Pikaia bir y\u0131lan bal\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi y\u00fczen ilkel bir omurgal\u0131yd\u0131 (hayatlar\u0131n\u0131n en az bir d\u00f6nemi i\u00e7in bir notokordu olan bir hayvan). Pikaia\u2019n\u0131n ger\u00e7ek bir bal\u0131\u011fa d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fecek d\u00f6rt hayati bile\u015feni vard\u0131; bir kafa (kuyruktan ayr\u0131 belirgin bir kafa), bilateral simetri (v\u00fccudun her iki taraf\u0131nda ayn\u0131 \u015fekil), v-\u015fekilli kaslar ve v\u00fccudu boyunca uzanan bir sinir kordonu. Kordon bir kemik veya t\u00fcp taraf\u0131ndan korunmad\u0131 ve bu nedenle Pikaia teknik olarak bir omurgal\u0131 de\u011fildi. Ancak gelecekteki omurgal\u0131lar\u0131n temellerini att\u0131. Bal\u0131klar \u015fekil, uzunluk ve b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fck bak\u0131m\u0131ndan \u00e7e\u015fitlilik g\u00f6steriyordu ancak hen\u00fcz \u00e7ene geli\u015ftirmemi\u015flerdi. Bal\u0131klar\u0131n halen alt \u00e7enesi yoktu. Bu y\u00fczden b\u00fcy\u00fck av t\u00fcketemiyorlard\u0131. Bunun yerine, muhtemelen a\u011f\u0131zlar\u0131 vas\u0131tas\u0131yla deniz taban\u0131ndan su ve d\u00f6k\u00fcnt\u00fcleri emerek, solunga\u00e7lar\u0131 vas\u0131tas\u0131yla da at\u0131klar\u0131 ve suyu serbest b\u0131rakarak besleniyorlard\u0131. Bir\u00e7ok \u00e7enesiz bal\u0131\u011f\u0131n da kemikli z\u0131rhl\u0131 plakalar\u0131 bulunmaktayd\u0131. Bu bal\u0131klara \u00f6rnek olarak Astraspis ve Arandaspis verilebilir. Y\u00fczge\u00e7leri yoktu ve hareket kabiliyetleri s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131yd\u0131. Bu t\u00fcrler, Sil\u00fcriyen d\u00f6nemde daha fazla manevra kabiliyeti veren \u00e7atall\u0131 bir kuyru\u011fa sahip olmak i\u00e7in evrim ge\u00e7irdiler. Devoniyen d\u00f6nemi boyunca farkl\u0131la\u015ft\u0131lar, ancak Permiyen d\u00f6neminin sonunda ise nesilleri t\u00fckenmi\u015fti. \u0130lk \u00e7eneli bal\u0131\u011f\u0131n ge\u00e7 Ordovisiyen \/ erken Sil\u00fcriyen d\u00f6neminde geli\u015fmi\u015f oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Ordovisyen d\u00f6nemin sonuna do\u011fru ve Sil\u00fcriyen d\u00f6neminin ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131nda, D\u00fcnya devasa bir yok olma ya\u015fad\u0131. \u0130kinci en b\u00fcy\u00fck nesil t\u00fckenme olay\u0131, t\u00fcrlerin y\u00fczde 70\u2019ini yok etti. Bu d\u00f6nemden \u00f6nce t\u00fcm bal\u0131klar \u00e7enesizdi, bu d\u00f6nemde ilk \u00e7ene belirtileri bulundu. \u00c7eneler ilk olarak Sil\u00fcriyen d\u00f6neminde kaydedilmi\u015ftir. Bu d\u00f6neme ait fosil kay\u0131tlar\u0131 iki bal\u0131k grubunu i\u015faret eder: Placoderm ve Acanthodii. \u00c7enelerinin \u00f6n faringeal kemerlerden (solunga\u00e7 kemerleri) evrimle\u015fti\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Ayr\u0131ca \u00e7enelerin beslenme yerine nefes almaya yard\u0131mc\u0131 oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. K\u0131k\u0131rdakl\u0131 bal\u0131klar (Chondrichthyes) ve kemikli bal\u0131klar (Osteichthyes) da ge\u00e7 Sil\u00fcriyen d\u00f6nemde geli\u015fmi\u015ftir. Hem k\u0131k\u0131rdakl\u0131 hem de kemikli bal\u0131klar\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 denizlere b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00e7e\u015fitlilik getirdi, bir\u00e7ok farkl\u0131 \u015fekil ve boyutta bal\u0131k, sular\u0131 ele ge\u00e7irmeye ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Devoniyen d\u00f6nemde (\u201cBal\u0131klar\u0131n \u00e7a\u011f\u0131\u201d olarak da bilinir) bal\u0131klar \u00e7e\u015fitlenmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Bu d\u00f6nemde placodermler bask\u0131nd\u0131; ancak Chondrichthyes (k\u00f6pekbal\u0131klar\u0131 ve vatozlar) daha \u00e7evikti ve bask\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ele ge\u00e7irdiler. Bu nedenle bu d\u00f6nemin sonuna do\u011fru Ostracoderm ve Placoderm nesilleri t\u00fckendi. Osteichthyes (kemikli iskeletleri olan bal\u0131klar) iki gruba evrilmi\u015ftir: \u0131\u015f\u0131n y\u00fczge\u00e7li bal\u0131klar (Actinopterygii) ve lob y\u00fczge\u00e7libal\u0131klar (Sarcopterygii). Lob y\u00fczge\u00e7li bal\u0131klardan, tetrapodlar evrimle\u015fti (ger\u00e7ek bacakl\u0131 omurgal\u0131lar); onlar, insanlar da dahil olmak \u00fczere karada ya\u015fayan omurgal\u0131lar\u0131n atalar\u0131d\u0131r. I\u015f\u0131n y\u00fczge\u00e7li bal\u0131klar evrimle\u015fmeye ve yeni t\u00fcrler olu\u015fturmaya devam ettiler ve \u015fu anda gezegendeki en \u00e7e\u015fitli ve say\u0131ca fazla omurgal\u0131 taksonu olu\u015ftururlar.<\/p>\n<p>Permiyen d\u00f6nemi, Permiyen-Triyas\u2019\u0131n yok olma olay\u0131yla sona erdi. Bu olay, D\u00fcnya tarihinin en b\u00fcy\u00fck kitlesel yok olu\u015fudur. Deniz t\u00fcrlerinin yakla\u015f\u0131k % 96\u2019s\u0131 tamamen yok olmu\u015ftur. Bu yok olu\u015f olay\u0131ndan sonra toparlanabilen ve \u00e7e\u015fitlenebilen kemikli bal\u0131klar olmu\u015ftur. Dinozorlar\u0131n evriminin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra bal\u0131klar da evrimle\u015fmeye devam etti.<\/p>\n<p>Bu bizi 65 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6ncesinden bug\u00fcne uzanan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz \u00e7a\u011f\u0131na getiriyor. Megaladon gibi balinalarla beslenen ve yap\u0131lan modellemeler sonras\u0131 T-rex\u2019lerden daha fazla \u0131s\u0131rma g\u00fcc\u00fcne sahip b\u00fcy\u00fck avc\u0131larla ayn\u0131 ortam\u0131 payla\u015fmalar\u0131na ve bir\u00e7ok bal\u0131k t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn soyunun t\u00fckenmi\u015f olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde yakla\u015f\u0131k 35.000 bal\u0131k t\u00fcr\u00fc bulunmakta. Bunlar ya\u015fayan t\u00fcm omurgal\u0131lar\u0131n yar\u0131s\u0131ndan fazlas\u0131n\u0131 temsil etmektedir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ya\u015fam a\u011fac\u0131 \u00fczerinden hamsiye bak\u0131\u015f<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Bilimsel s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rmas\u0131n\u0131 inceledi\u011fimizde bal\u0131klar Animalia, yani Hayvanlar alemi alt\u0131nda s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r. \u015eube olarak Chordata (kordal\u0131lar) \u015fubesi alt\u0131nda en \u00f6nemli ayr\u0131m ya\u015fanmaktad\u0131r. Yukar\u0131da s\u00f6z etti\u011fimiz gibi evrimsel s\u00fcre\u00e7te kemikli bal\u0131klar (Osteichthyes) karasal akrabalar\u0131 tetrapodlardan ve sucul akrabalar\u0131 olan di\u011fer bal\u0131klardan bu a\u015famada ayr\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bu s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rma sonras\u0131 ait olduklar\u0131 \u0131\u015f\u0131nsal y\u00fczge\u00e7liler (Actinopterygii) s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131 alt\u0131nda ve Clupeiformes tak\u0131m\u0131nda grupland\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.
