Dr. Kerem Canko\u00e7ak<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tahminen 30 bin y\u0131l kadar \u00f6nce biyolojik evrimlerinin son a\u015famas\u0131na gelmi\u015f ve g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz insanlar\u0131na yak\u0131n bir ak\u0131l d\u00fczeyine ula\u015fm\u0131\u015f olan atalar\u0131m\u0131z \u00e7evrelerinde g\u00f6rd\u00fckleri d\u00fcnyaya ili\u015fkin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler geli\u015ftiriyorlard\u0131. Etraflar\u0131nda g\u00f6rd\u00fckleri baz\u0131 nesneler cans\u0131zd\u0131, hareket etmiyordu, baz\u0131lar\u0131 ise canl\u0131yd\u0131 ve \u201c<strong>ak\u0131ll\u0131ca<\/strong>\u201d davran\u0131yorlard\u0131. \u0130\u015fte ilk insanlar bu ak\u0131ll\u0131 tepkileri bir <strong>erekselli\u011fe<\/strong> ba\u011flad\u0131lar ve buna <strong>Ruh<\/strong> dediler. Daha sonra bu Ruh kavram\u0131 \u00e7ok daha b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc, dallan\u0131p budakland\u0131 ve hemen her \u015feyi a\u00e7\u0131klamakta kullan\u0131l\u0131r oldu, \u201c<strong>yarat\u0131c\u0131<\/strong>\u201d ile \u00f6zde\u015fle\u015fti. \u0130nsanlar anlayamad\u0131klar\u0131 her \u015feyin nedenini bir yarat\u0131c\u0131ya ba\u011flamaya ba\u015flad\u0131lar, ta ki modern bilimler geli\u015fip, etraf\u0131m\u0131zda g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz olgular\u0131n bir ereksellik g\u00f6stermeyip, rastlant\u0131sal ve materyalist bir a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131 oldu\u011funu kavrayana kadar. Bilim \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 b\u00f6yle ba\u015flad\u0131 ve h\u00e2l\u00e2 devam ediyor.<\/p>\n<p>Tarih boyunca b\u00fct\u00fcn bilim insanlar\u0131 \u015f\u00fcpheciydi ve en az\u0131ndan var olan dini dogmalarla \u00e7at\u0131\u015ft\u0131lar. Ayd\u0131nlanma \u00e7a\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yarat\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131 ve takip\u00e7ileri olan geli\u015fmi\u015f \u00fclkelerde ise art\u0131k tanr\u0131ya inanan bilim insan\u0131 pek kalmad\u0131. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc bilim, tanr\u0131 kavram\u0131na gerek kalmadan olgular\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klar. Zaten \u00f6teki t\u00fcrl\u00fc faaliyete, yani olgular\u0131 tanr\u0131n\u0131n i\u015fe kar\u0131\u015fmas\u0131yla a\u00e7\u0131klayan faaliyete teoloji denir.<\/p>\n<p>Oysa ayd\u0131nlanma \u00e7a\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u0131skalam\u0131\u015f, ancak Cumhuriyetle birlikte 200 y\u0131ll\u0131k aray\u0131 h\u0131zla kapatmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan ve s\u00fcrekli kar\u015f\u0131 devrimlerle gerileyen \u00fclkemizde durum geli\u015fmi\u015f \u00fclkelerden olduk\u00e7a farkl\u0131. 21. y\u00fczy\u0131l T\u00fcrkiye\u2019si 19. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131 aratm\u0131yor. Evrim ger\u00e7e\u011fi liselerde okutulmuyor, hatta bir\u00e7ok \u00fcniversitenin biyoloji b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde bile \u00f6\u011fretilmiyor. T\u0131p \u00f6\u011freniminde dahi evrim bilimine hemen hi\u00e7 yer verilmiyor. B\u00fcy\u00fck bir h\u0131zla toplum dindarla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor ve buna paralel olarak bilimsellik kavram\u0131n\u0131n i\u00e7i bo\u015falt\u0131l\u0131yor. En ciddi gazetelerdeki liberal k\u00f6\u015fe yazarlar\u0131 bile, \u201cevrim kuram\u0131 sadece bir kuram belki do\u011fru da de\u011fildir\u201d diye yazabiliyorlar. \u00dcniversite \u00f6\u011frencilerinin %90\u2019lara varan k\u0131sm\u0131 evrim ger\u00e7e\u011finden habersiz, Adem ile Havva\u2019dan geldi\u011fimize inan\u0131yorlar. Bir karikat\u00fcrist (Bahad\u0131r Baruter) \u00e7izdi\u011fi masum bir karikat\u00fcr nedeniyle \u2018dine hakaretten\u2019 yarg\u0131lan\u0131yor. Pe\u015f pe\u015fe a\u00e7\u0131lan bu tip davalar\u0131n amac\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnen, ele\u015ftiren insan\u0131n sesini tamamen k\u0131smak.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de gericiler a\u00e7\u0131k a\u00e7\u0131k yalan s\u00f6yl\u00fcyorlar ve ne kadar b\u00fcy\u00fck yalan s\u00f6ylerlerse cahil b\u0131rakt\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f halk\u0131m\u0131z o kadar daha \u00e7ok inan\u0131yor. \u00d6rne\u011fin <em>Zaman<\/em> gazetesinden (12 Aral\u0131k 2010) Ali Bula\u00e7 \u015f\u00f6yle yaz\u0131yor: \u201cPekiyi, bize hakiki ve do\u011fru okumay\u0131 kim \u00f6\u011fretecek? Ateist mi, \u015f\u00fcpheci mi, m\u00fc\u2019min mi? Ateist sald\u0131rgan, \u015f\u00fcpheci huzursuz, m\u00fc\u2019min sab\u0131rl\u0131 Hakikat aray\u0131c\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r.\u201d Oysa hangi tarih kitab\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7arsan\u0131z a\u00e7\u0131n, \u201csab\u0131rl\u0131 m\u00fc\u2019min\u201dlerin binlerce y\u0131ldan beri insanlar\u0131 yakt\u0131\u011f\u0131, kafir diye \u00f6ld\u00fcklerini okursunuz. B\u00fct\u00fcn sava\u015flarda din \u00f6\u011fesi kullan\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ama T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de, yukar\u0131daki sat\u0131rlar\u0131n yazar\u0131na, kendine solcu diyen <em>Birikim<\/em> dergisi sayfalar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131yor. Yine <em>Birikim<\/em>\u2019de \u00e7\u0131kan bir yaz\u0131s\u0131nda toplum bilimcimiz Binnaz Toprak bu yazar\u0131 (Ali Bula\u00e7) \u201cM\u00fcsl\u00fcman ayd\u0131n\u201d olarak de\u011ferlendiriyor.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019 de ayd\u0131n olmak aya\u011fa d\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f durumda. Art\u0131k hac\u0131lar hocalar, imamlar, \u015feyhler, \u015f\u0131hlar, okumu\u015f okumam\u0131\u015f her gerici \u201cayd\u0131n\u201d s\u0131fat\u0131n\u0131 hak ediyor memleketimizde. Binlerce y\u0131ll\u0131k bu hurafelere inananlar, ayd\u0131n olman\u0131n temel gere\u011fi olan \u015f\u00fcpheciler, bilim insanlar\u0131, ateistler ne olarak isimlendirilecek? Ayd\u0131n kelimesinin k\u00f6keninden bile koptuk art\u0131k.<\/p>\n<p>50 bilim insan\u0131ndan g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f alarak bir kitap \u00e7\u0131karmak istiyoruz. Bu kitab\u0131n yazarlar\u0131, ger\u00e7ek ayd\u0131n\u0131n ne oldu\u011funu, ayd\u0131n\u0131n neden ateist olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini anlatacaklar. Ateist olmayana ayd\u0131n denemez, ba\u015fka bir \u015fey denir. Hoca denir, \u00f6\u011fretmen denebilir, imam, yazar, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr veya buna benzer her \u015fey denebilir ama ayd\u0131n denemez. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc ancak ayd\u0131n, kendi uslamlama yetisine inanarak etraf\u0131ndaki d\u00fcnyay\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan kimsedir. Tanr\u0131 veya benzeri, kendisinden daha \u00fcst\u00fcn bir g\u00fcc\u00fcn yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve kontrol etti\u011fi d\u00fcnyaya inanan insan her \u015fey olabilir ama ayd\u0131n olamaz. \u0130nand\u0131\u011f\u0131 yarat\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n s\u00f6zc\u00fcs\u00fc, inan\u00e7l\u0131 bir izleyicisi olabilir bu ki\u015fi. Ama ayd\u0131n demek, tam da bunlar\u0131 sorgulayan ki\u015fi demektir.
