Ancak biliminsanlar\u0131 t\u00fcm bu taktiklerin temelindeki mekanizmay\u0131 \u015feffafl\u0131kla belirleyememi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>Kaliforniya \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nden biliminsanlar\u0131, bir\u00e7ok fotosentetik organizmada g\u00f6zlenen fotosentez yoluyla besin \u00fcretiminin bir modelini olu\u015fturdu. Ye\u015fil bitkilerin ve di\u011fer baz\u0131 organizmalar\u0131n karbondioksit, su ve g\u00fcne\u015f enerjisini kullanarak besin sentezleme s\u00fcreci olan fotosentezde \u0131\u015f\u0131k enerjisinin toplanmas\u0131 g\u00fcne\u015f \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n emilimiyle ba\u015flar.<\/p>\n<p>Biliminsanlar\u0131 iki farkl\u0131 renkteki \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131 alabilen ancak yakalanan g\u00fcne\u015f enerjisi oran\u0131n\u0131n sabit oldu\u011fu bir model olu\u015ftu. <em>Science<\/em> dergisinde yay\u0131nlanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n yazarlar\u0131ndan olan Nathaniel M. Gabor, \u201cModelimiz, fotosentetik canl\u0131lar\u0131n \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131n birden \u00e7ok rengine duyarl\u0131 olarak kendilerini g\u00fcne\u015f enerjisindeki ani de\u011fi\u015fikliklere kar\u015f\u0131 koruyabildi\u011fini g\u00f6steriyor. Ayr\u0131ca modelin ye\u015fil bitkilerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra di\u011fer fotosentetik organizmalarda da \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6sterebildik\u201d a\u00e7\u0131klamalar\u0131nda bulundu.<\/p>\n<p>Fotosentez \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda bulunan deneysel fizik\u00e7i Rienk van Grondelle, fotosentez sistemi i\u00e7erisinde enerjiyi en \u00fcst d\u00fczeye \u00e7\u0131karan belirli b\u00f6lgelerin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 i\u015faret ederek \u201cBu \u00e7ok basit prensibi, insan \u00fcretimi g\u00fcne\u015f pillerinin tasar\u0131m\u0131nda da kullanabiliriz\u201d a\u00e7\u0131klamalar\u0131nda bulundu.<\/p>\n<p>Gabor, g\u00fcne\u015fe y\u00fcksek oranda maruz kalmalar\u0131ndan kaynaklanan hasar\u0131 \u00f6nlemek i\u00e7in bitkilerin ve di\u011fer fotosentetik organizmalar\u0131n \u00e7e\u015fitli taktiklere sahip oldu\u011funu, bu taktiklerin enerji sal\u0131n\u0131m mekanizmalar\u0131ndan yapra\u011f\u0131n fiziksel hareketine varan geni\u015f bir \u00e7e\u015fitlilik g\u00f6sterdi\u011fini ifade etti. Buna g\u00f6re bitkiler, g\u00fcne\u015fe kar\u015f\u0131 oldu\u011fu gibi UV \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 da etkili bir koruma geli\u015ftirdiler.<\/p>\n<p>Bitkilerin ye\u015fil g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcnde de bu koruma mekanizmas\u0131n\u0131n etkili oldu\u011funu belirten Gabor, \u201cFotosentez bir mutfak lavabosu olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir. Lavaboya ak\u0131\u015f d\u0131\u015far\u0131 ak\u0131\u015ftan \u00e7ok daha b\u00fcy\u00fckse, lavabodaki biriken su ta\u015far ve zemine d\u00f6k\u00fcl\u00fcr. Fotosentezde de g\u00fcne\u015f enerjisinin \u00fcretim s\u00fcrecine ak\u0131\u015f\u0131 fazlaysa, fotosentetik a\u011f\u0131n ani ve a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 enerji ak\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 azaltmak i\u00e7in enerji ak\u0131\u015f\u0131na uyum sa\u011flamas\u0131 gerekir. Fotosentetik a\u011f bu enerji dalgalanmalar\u0131n\u0131 y\u00f6netemedi\u011finde, organizma ekstra enerjiyi d\u0131\u015far\u0131 atmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r.
