D\u00fcn (6 Ekim 2020) ise Nobel Fizik \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc\u2019n\u00fc alan biliminsanlar\u0131 duyuruldu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nobel Fizyoloji veya T\u0131p \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc, Hepatit C vir\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn ke\u015ffine gitti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nobel Komitesi, bu seneki Nobel Fizyoloji veya T\u0131p \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn insanlarda siroz ve karaci\u011fer kanseri gibi kritik sa\u011fl\u0131k sorunlar\u0131na neden olan ve kan yoluyla bula\u015fan Hepatit C vir\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc ke\u015ffeden Harvey J. Alter, Michael Houghton ve Charles M. Rice\u2019a verildi\u011fini a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131. Komite, Hepatit A ve Hepatit B vir\u00fcslerinin ke\u015ffedilmesinin ileriye y\u00f6nelik ad\u0131mlar oldu\u011funu ancak kan yoluyla bula\u015fan hepatit vakalar\u0131n\u0131n a\u00e7\u0131klanamad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, Hepatit C vir\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn ke\u015ffedilmesiyle kronik hepatitin ana nedeninin ayd\u0131nlat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve b\u00f6ylelikle tan\u0131 i\u00e7in gerekli olan kan testleri ile milyonlarca insan\u0131n hayat\u0131n\u0131 kurtaran ila\u00e7lar\u0131n \u00fcretilebildi\u011fini belirtti.<\/p>\n<p>Hepatit, karaci\u011fer iltihab\u0131 anlam\u0131na gelir ve esas olarak vir\u00fcsler karaci\u011fer iltihab\u0131na neden olmaktad\u0131r. Ancak \u00e7evresel toksinler (zehirli maddeler), alkol ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve otoimm\u00fcn hastal\u0131klar da karaci\u011fer iltihab\u0131na sebep olabilmektedir. 1940\u2019larda, hepatitin iki t\u00fcr\u00fc oldu\u011fu ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Buna g\u00f6re Hepatit A, kirli su ve besinler arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla bula\u015f\u0131yordu ve hasta \u00fczerindeki uzun d\u00f6nemli etkileri s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131yd\u0131. \u0130kinci tip olan Hepatit B, kan ve v\u00fccut s\u0131v\u0131lar\u0131 yoluyla bula\u015f\u0131yordu ve siroz ile karaci\u011fer kanserine varan sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 olabilen, ciddi bir sa\u011fl\u0131k tehdidiydi. (Hepatit B enfeksiyonlar\u0131, Hepatit A\u2019dan farkl\u0131 olarak daha &#8220;sinsi&#8221; ilerleyebilmektedir; Hepatit B vir\u00fcs\u00fcyle enfekte olan bireylerde enfeksiyon ciddi belirtiler g\u00f6stermeden, sessiz bir \u015fekilde, y\u0131llarca s\u00fcrebilmektedir.)<\/p>\n<p>Bu d\u00f6nemde Hepatit A ve Hepatit B tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ancak baz\u0131 karaci\u011fer iltihab\u0131 vakalar\u0131nda ana neden h\u00e2l\u00e2 a\u00e7\u0131klanam\u0131yordu, vakalarda Hepatit A ve Hepatit B tan\u0131 testleri negatif \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yordu. Biliminsanlar\u0131 \u201cA olmayan, B olmayan\u201d (non-A, non-B) hepatiti tan\u0131mlamak i\u00e7in ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara ba\u015flad\u0131.
