MiRNA\u2019lar\u0131n, bir b\u00f6lgedeki kanserin di\u011fer dokulara s\u0131\u00e7ramas\u0131, yay\u0131lmas\u0131 olarak bilinen metastaz\u0131n nas\u0131l ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti\u011fi, kanserin nas\u0131l yay\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 konusunda \u00f6nemli bir etkiye sahip olabilece\u011fi yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. Yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rmada ise, kanserle\u015fme ile yak\u0131ndan ili\u015fkili oldu\u011fu belirlenmi\u015f olan miR-21\u2019in (miRNA-21\/microRNA-21) meme kanserinin \u00f6zellikle bir t\u00fcr\u00fcnde artt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve metastaz ile do\u011frudan ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu tespit edildi.<\/p>\n<p>Biliminsanlar\u0131 bu sonucun ard\u0131ndan kanser h\u00fccrelerinden miR-21 genetik materyallerini \u00e7\u0131karmak i\u00e7in genetik m\u00fchendisli\u011finin ba\u015fat ara\u00e7lar\u0131ndan biri olan CRISPR\/Cas9 metodunu kulland\u0131. MiR-21\u2019lerin h\u00fccrelerden \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan h\u00fccrelerin metastatik \u00f6zelliklerinin tersine \u00e7evrildi\u011fi g\u00f6zlemlendi. Bu duruma ek olarak, genetik olarak d\u00fczenlenmi\u015f bu h\u00fccreler, kanser h\u00fccreleri taraf\u0131ndan h\u00fccre d\u0131\u015f\u0131 ortama sal\u0131nan ve kanserin v\u00fccut i\u00e7ine yay\u0131lmas\u0131na \u00f6nemli roller oynayan baz\u0131 lipitleri daha az salg\u0131lamaya ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar ayr\u0131ca, miR-21\u2019lerin kanser h\u00fccrelerinden kesecikler (vesicles) arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla kom\u015fu h\u00fccrelere ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dolay\u0131s\u0131yla kanserin yay\u0131lmas\u0131nda h\u00fccrenin ta\u015f\u0131ma mekanizmas\u0131n\u0131n da etkili oldu\u011funu buldu. miR-21\u2019lerin h\u00fccrelerden \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131yla ortamda miR-21 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan fakir bir ortam\u0131n olu\u015fturman\u0131n, genetik olarak d\u00fczenlenmi\u015f h\u00fccrelerin kom\u015fu h\u00fccrelere miR-21 aktarmas\u0131n\u0131 durdurdu\u011funu ve b\u00f6ylelikle kanserin yay\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n engellenmesinde \u00f6nemli bir rol oynayabilece\u011fi g\u00f6sterildi.<\/p>\n<p>Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131ndan Dr. P\u0131nar Uysal-Onganer, ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n, \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lan meme kanseri t\u00fcr\u00fc gibi agresif (sald\u0131rgan, yay\u0131lmac\u0131) kanser t\u00fcrlerinde mikroRNA\u2019lar\u0131n rollerinin daha iyi anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sundu\u011funu belirterek bir ba\u015fka konuya daha dikkat \u00e7ekiyor: Kanser ilac\u0131na diren\u00e7 ile miR-21 aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fki.<\/p>\n<p>Bu meme kanseri t\u00fcr\u00fc, en agresif meme kanseri t\u00fcr\u00fc olarak kabul edilmektedir ve ayr\u0131ca di\u011fer meme kanseri t\u00fcrlerine k\u0131yasla tedavi i\u00e7in daha az ila\u00e7 alternatifi bulunmaktad\u0131r. Bu kanser tipi \u00fczerine yo\u011funla\u015fan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, bu t\u00fcrde kanserin v\u00fccudun di\u011fer b\u00f6lgelerine yay\u0131lma ve tedaviden sonra geri gelme olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok daha y\u00fcksek oldu\u011funu ortaya koymu\u015ftur.
