Orta kuvvetteki deprem T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin en uzun fay\u0131 olan Kuzey Anadolu Fay\u0131 Ku\u015fa\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n Niksar \u0130l\u00e7esi yak\u0131n\u0131nda oldu (\u015eekil 1).<br \/>\nKuzey Anadolu Fay\u0131 bu b\u00f6lgede birka\u00e7 kola (fay segmenti) ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Re\u015fadiye Kolu Niksar yak\u0131n\u0131nda kuzeye do\u011fru bir s\u0131\u00e7rama yaparak Niksar Kolu\u2019na ve Erbaa Kolu\u2019na ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Niksar Kolu ile Re\u015fadiye Kolu aras\u0131ndaki bu s\u0131\u00e7rama alan\u0131nda, Niksar-Ba\u015f\u00e7iftlik-Akp\u0131nar aras\u0131nda \u00e7ok say\u0131da k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck faylar olu\u015fmu\u015ftur. B\u00fcy\u00fck siyah daireler 1900-2015 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc 5.0 ve daha fazla olan depremleri, mavi renkli daireler ise 1 Eyl\u00fcl 2021-21 Eyl\u00fcl 2021 tarihleri aras\u0131nda olan deprem etkinli\u011fini g\u00f6sterir. Depremlerin sismolojik parametreleri \u00c7izelge 1\u2019de verilmi\u015ftir. Haritan\u0131n sa\u011f \u00fcst k\u00f6\u015fesinde AFAD taraf\u0131ndan belirlenen odak mekanizmas\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. (Haritadaki deprem bilgileri KRDAE\u2019den, fay bilgileri MTA Diri Fay haritas\u0131ndan al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1 Eyl\u00fcl 2021 tarihinde Niksar il\u00e7esi ve yak\u0131n \u00e7evresinde ba\u015flayan k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck deprem etkinli\u011fi Kandilli Rasathanesi ve Deprem Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc (KRDAE) taraf\u0131ndan kaydedilmi\u015ftir (\u00c7izelge 1). 1 Eyl\u00fcl 2021-20 Eyl\u00fcl 2021 Tarihleri aras\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri 1.6 ile 2.8 aras\u0131nda be\u015f adet k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck deprem olmu\u015f, bu depremler k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckl\u00fckleri nedeniyle \u00e7evre halk\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan hissedilmemi\u015ftir. Deprem etkinli\u011fi 21 Eyl\u00fcl 2021 tarihinde saat 19:09\u2019da M<sub>L<\/sub>4.4 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki deprem ile s\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015f, Niksar \u0130l\u00e7esi ve \u00e7evresinde kuvvetle hissedilmi\u015ftir. Orta kuvvette bir deprem \u00f6ncesi daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck depremlerin olu\u015fmas\u0131 dikkat \u00e7ekmektedir.
