Nature dergisinde yay\u0131mlanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n payda\u015flar\u0131ndan Birle\u015fik Krall\u0131k&#8217;taki Durham \u00dcniversitesi&#8217;nde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan Simone Scaringi &#8220;Bu yeni bulgu y\u0131ld\u0131zlarda termon\u00fckleer patlamalar\u0131n nas\u0131l ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti\u011fi konusundaki fikirlerimize meydan okuyor. Beyaz c\u00fcceler G\u00fcne\u015f k\u00fctlesine sahip D\u00fcnya yar\u0131\u00e7ap\u0131ndaki a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 yo\u011fun cisimlerdir. Genelde \u00e7ift y\u0131ld\u0131z sistemleri i\u00e7inde bulunurlar ve e\u015flik\u00e7i y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131ndan malzeme \u00e7alabilirler. Bu malzemeler \u00e7o\u011funlukla Hidrojen ve Helyum olur. E\u011fer beyaz c\u00fcce ve e\u015flik\u00e7i y\u0131ld\u0131z yeterince yak\u0131nsa \u00e7al\u0131nan Hidrojen atomlar\u0131 beyaz c\u00fccenin \u00e7ok s\u0131cak y\u00fczeyine temas eder ve Hidrojenler patlamalar e\u015fli\u011finde Helyum&#8217;a d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrler. Fakat bu durum korkutucu bir ger\u00e7e\u011fi de ortaya \u00e7\u0131karmakta.
