Elmal\u0131 Fay\u0131, Kuzey Anadolu Fay Ku\u015fa\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n do\u011fu ucunda yer alan Yedisu Fay\u0131 ile Karg\u0131pazar\u0131 Fay\u0131 (\u015eekil 1) aras\u0131nda kalan bir diri fayd\u0131r (Emre ve di\u011f., 2016). Elmal\u0131 Fay\u0131 \u00fczerinde 17 A\u011fustos 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda 6.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde (Eyido\u011fan ve di\u011f., 1991) ve 14 Haziran 2020\u2019de 5.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde depremler olmu\u015ftur.<br \/>\nElmal\u0131 Fay\u0131, Kuzey Anadolu Fay\u0131\u2019n\u0131n do\u011fu ucunda yer alan ve ortalama 80 km uzunlukta olan Yedisu Fay\u0131\u2019n\u0131n do\u011fusunda uzanmaktad\u0131r. P\u0131nar ve Lahn (1952)\u2019a g\u00f6re 17 A\u011fustos 1949\u2019da 6.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde olan deprem, 38 km uzunlukta ve sa\u011f y\u00f6nl\u00fc do\u011frultu at\u0131ml\u0131 bir kayma g\u00f6steren Elmal\u0131 Fay\u0131 \u00fczerinde olmu\u015ftur. O depremde Karl\u0131ova, Ki\u011f\u0131, ve Ba\u015fk\u00f6y il\u00e7e merkezlerinde ve \u00e7evre k\u00f6ylerde 300 ki\u015fi \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015f, 1500\u2019den fazla ev y\u0131k\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (Kocaman ve Kazaz, 2021).<br \/>\n16 Haziran 2020\u2019de Elmal\u0131 Fay\u0131 \u00fczerinde olan 5.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki deprem \u00e7ok say\u0131da art\u00e7\u0131 deprem olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur (\u015eekil 2). Depremin odak mekanizmas\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc sa\u011f y\u00f6nl\u00fc do\u011frultu at\u0131ml\u0131 bir fay hareketini g\u00f6stermektedir. Depremde Kaynarp\u0131nar, Dinarbey ve Elmal\u0131\u2019da bulunan ve genellikle tek katl\u0131 olarak ins\u0327a edilen geleneksel y\u0131g\u0306ma yap\u0131larda c\u0327es\u0327itli derecelerde hasarlar olu\u015fmu\u015ftur (Kocaman ve Kazaz, 2021).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55968  alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/bilimvegelecek.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/deprem-2-1-300x195.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"623\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bilimvegelecek.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/deprem-2-1-300x194.png 300w, https:\/\/bilimvegelecek.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/deprem-2-1-768x498.png 768w, https:\/\/bilimvegelecek.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/deprem-2-1-600x389.png 600w, https:\/\/bilimvegelecek.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/deprem-2-1.png 966w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 623px) 100vw, 623px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>16 Eyl\u00fcl 2022\u2019de saat 23:30\u2019da olan 4.9 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki deprem, b\u00f6lgenin ge\u00e7mi\u015f d\u00f6nemlerdeki depremselli\u011fi ve odak mekanizmas\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmleri bir arada ele al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, Elmal\u0131 Fay\u0131\u2019n\u0131n sa\u011f y\u00f6nl\u00fc do\u011frultu at\u0131ml\u0131 fay hareketlerini olduk\u00e7a canl\u0131 olarak s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc anla\u015f\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<br \/>\nYedisu Fay\u0131 suskundur ve son 250 y\u0131ld\u0131r \u00fczerinde kuvvetli veya b\u00fcy\u00fck deprem olmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Emre ve di\u011f.
