Pleistosen d\u00f6nemine denk gelen <em>Homo erectus<\/em>\u2019lar\u0131n d\u00fcnya sahnesindeki ya\u015fam\u0131 (1,9 my\u00f6 &#8211; 0,250 my\u00f6) Australopithecus ile <em>Homo sapiens<\/em> aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00fcnya y\u00fcz\u00fcnde \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 alanlarda yay\u0131l\u0131m g\u00f6steren <em>H. erectus<\/em>\u2019lar\u0131n bir fosili de Denizli\u2019de bulundu. Ge\u00e7en ay bulunan bu \u00f6rnek T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin ilk <em>H. erectus<\/em>\u2019u olarak kay\u0131tlara ge\u00e7ti. Fosilin termol\u00fcminesans metotlarla yap\u0131lan analizinde 500.000 ya\u015f\u0131nda oldu\u011fu tahmin ediliyor.<\/p>\n<p><em>Homo erectus<\/em>\u2019un, ate\u015fi kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve ma\u011faralarda ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilinmektedir.
