Platon\u2019un yap\u0131tlar\u0131nda kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 anlat\u0131m tarz\u0131, genellikle hocas\u0131 Sokrates gibi ger\u00e7ek ki\u015filerle yap\u0131lan s\u00f6yle\u015filer, diyaloglar bi\u00e7imindedir. Kent kanal ve duvarlardan olu\u015fan i\u00e7 i\u00e7e \u00e7emberler bi\u00e7iminde tasarlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Merkezde y\u00fcksek bir tepe vard\u0131r. Tepenin doru\u011funda da, Tanr\u0131lar i\u00e7in 2 tap\u0131nak yer almaktad\u0131r. Ne var ki Platon\u2019dan 9 biny\u0131l \u00f6nce Tanr\u0131lar, yozla\u015fan Atlantis halk\u0131n\u0131 cezaland\u0131rmak i\u00e7in \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck bir depremle aday\u0131 y\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u00fchne tezini, inceledi\u011fi uydu foto\u011fraflar\u0131 \u00fczerine kuruyordu. Foto\u011fraflar \u0130spanya\u2019n\u0131n g\u00fcneyinde Cadiz\u2019e yak\u0131n batakl\u0131k bir b\u00f6lgede Platon\u2019un betimlemelerine uyan \u015fekiller oldu\u011funu ortaya koyuyor. S\u00f6z konusu k\u0131y\u0131 b\u00f6lgesinde M\u00d6 800 ile M\u00d6 500 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda bir tarihte b\u00fcy\u00fck bir sel felaketi ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f. Uydudan \u00e7ekilen foto\u011fraflarda dikd\u00f6rtgene benzeyen iki \u015fekil dikkat \u00e7ekiyor. Birinin boyu 230 m, eni 140 m; \u00f6tekinin boyu 280 m ve eni de 240 m. Dr. K\u00fchne, bunlar\u0131n Platon\u2019un s\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fc etti\u011fi G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f Tap\u0131nak ve Alt\u0131n Tap\u0131nak olabilece\u011fini ileri s\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Ayr\u0131ca bu dikd\u00f6rtgenlerin e\u015fmerkezli \u00e7emberlerle \u00e7evrili olmas\u0131 da dikkat \u00e7eken ba\u015fka bir nokta. Platon\u2019un betimlemesinde en d\u0131\u015ftaki \u00e7emberin \u00e7ap\u0131 5 km; uydu foto\u011fraflar\u0131ndakiyse 5-6 km aras\u0131nda. Dr. K\u00fchne bunun da bir ba\u015fka kan\u0131t oldu\u011funu ileri s\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Dr. K\u00fchne s\u00f6zkonusu b\u00f6lgenin bir an \u00f6nce arkeologlarca kaz\u0131lmas\u0131ndan yana.
